Off Leash K9 Training Rochester/Syracuse

My wife and I have a young dog, that is a mix between husky and German shepherd. He is was extremely playful and we wanted to put him into training. We took classes with Rebecca and Alex and we started to notice immediately, that as long as we practice at home, the tools they gave us worked and worked perfect! As our dog started to grow we noticed we couldn't bring him out in public because he would pull on the leash and also jump on people. With my wife being pregnant, I was getting nervous that maybe my dog would get too excited and would pull and knock her on the ground. We decided to put him in the two week boarding training. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Alex was great! He consistently sent text messages with how training was going, with videos and different items they are working on. When we got him back, he was still the playful dog but he was trained! My wife and I have now been able to walk outside and do long walks without our puppy on a leash and we can bring him to stores and he won't bother anyone. It's more than just the typical "sit", "come", "down", commands. Alex trained my dog to not run out the door and to be focused. I would recommend that if you have a dog to go to Off Leash because they can explain a lot of items to you that you may not have known. So not only do they give your dog the tools he/she needs, but they also give you as the customer different tools as well. Once again, THANK YOU OFF LEASH! THANK YOU ALEX and THANK YOU REBECCA! You guys have made my our lives so much easier.

We came to Rebecca /K9 because our dog, "CHANCE", was struggling with simple leash walking, reactivity, jumping on people, tearing up everything, he would not stay or come when told or or stop mouthing. Before working with them, we felt extremly frustrated & overwhelmed but her approach changed everything. Chance is a Siberien Husky who clearly has a mind of his own, as most Husky owner know and he would hear us, but definitely not listen! Rebecca uses positive methods like reinforcement/relationship-based training, kind and humane teaching methods that made Chance actually excited to learn and to work at his training. What sets Rebecca / K9 apart isn't just how she handled and taught Chance, but how she teach us. Rebecca spent several hours with us at the end of the training program teaching us in a hands on method how to work with Chance, so we got trained also. Rebecca explained the 'why' behind every command, giving us the tools to be confident handlers. Today, Chance is still a typical Husky, but he is well behaved! He can actually go on walks in our neighborhood, walking calmly on a loose leash, he no longer jumps on people, he follows commands like stay and place and come. If you want a trainer who is patient, professional, and genuinely cares about your dog's well-being, Rebecca Rizzo is the best investment you’ll ever make!" For your knowledge we chose the 3 week intensive program where Chance lived with the trainer Rebecca. She took excellent care of him, he was healthy and supper happy at the end of the training program. Rebecca sent daily videos and pictures showing Chance's daily progress and kept us in the loop every step of the way!! Rebecca is amazing. You truley cant find a better trainer.

I had my 1st puppy and Siberian Husky for 15 years as a young man myself. I dreamed of being able to take my dog out off leash to parks, walks, as well as just genuinely not being worried he'd end up getting out and taken to the pound, which he did multiple times, he was a professional escape artist. When I got my next husky some 11yrs later, I wondered how it would be possible. I came across Off leash and from the beginning it was a great experience. They offered a consolation which for us our puppy already knew a lot of those commands and had been listening decently well. So when we decided to move forward with our 6mo puppy for a 2 week board and train, we were excited and nervous. We missed her so much it was scary, but the results have been amazing. She is so happy and so are we because her listing skills are great, we've done so many park trips as well as walks and our family could not be happier. This was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a pet to be a partner in crime. 10/10 recommend.
