Off Leash K9 Training Milwaukee/ Madison

We used K9 Offleash for our dog, Kira. She was almost one year old, and needed some guidance on heel, come, overall door manners and protecting her treats (resource guarding). We met with Jacob in July earlier this year. He was so patient, listened to us to learn about Kira and so confident in his practice. We shared our concerns with Kira and met with him a few times before to learn basics for us to work on, and learn and gain comfort over the ecollar. The drop off for the hybrid program was easy and Jacob was very communicative up until to make it easier on all. Throughout the time Kira was with Jacob, we got daily videos and report cards. Jacob also reached out via text and made sure she was taken care of, even got her special salmon treats (because she is picky!)! We loved seeing the progress that Kira was making day over day, especially with confidence. It was amazing to see her blossom! Pick up great - we met at an outdoor space and practiced all of what Kira learned in the prior two weeks. One of the biggest concerns we had with this program was “will this change her spunky little personality”?! We could not be more pleased, she is SO much happier, she is running around outside offleash, her weekends up north are leash free and she comes when we call her, we aren’t having to constantly correct her. She is happier than ever and trusts us more now than she has in the last year. Jacob and his training has not only changed our lives, he has changed Kira’s. Jacob has been so helpful after the training with questions we had, suggestions and even came to our house to work through some additional training (mostly for the owners :)) after the hybrid program was complete. We can’t thank him enough. This investment changed our lives and we are forever grateful! Thank you, Jacob! You’re the best!!!

Our trainer Laurie was the BEST! She was confident, positive and kind! She taught me so much about working with our puppy! During the in two weeks Tucker was with her she communicated concisely through the nightly report cards what she was working on with him and how he was doing. She often gave tips on what I can look out for when he is working the commands at home with me. Upon completion of the two weeks we met at Lowe’s and Laurie demonstrated what her and Tucker had been working on. It was a joy to see and I was super impressed. She then let me give it a try. She magically coached Tucker and me in a way that we both learned from the experience! This program is AMAZING and Laurie is TOP NOTCH!

We had a great experience with Laurie for our training. We did the hybrid option with lessons and 2 week board and train for our reactive boy. It was really beneficial to do the lessons prior to lay a foundation of the commands which helped make handoff smooth after the board and train. I couldn’t believe we were walking around a store with him! Laurie was very communicative thought the whole process and is very knowledgeable. I also had a family member who has trained both her dogs with Laurie and also had a great experience!

I originally had scheduled my pup Carol to stay two whole weeks with Laurie training. Unfortunately nature happens and she got her first heat cycle, frustrating but Laurie and team worked with me and allowed me to bring Carol back that worked with all of our schedules and she even offered to take her for two days longer to ensure that Carol didn’t fall behind on training. The photos you receive every evening are not only personalized but allow you to connect with your pet when they are gone. It’s not hard dropping off my pup for extended periods of time but this allowed me to feel comfortable the entire time. I can’t thank Laurie enough for allowing me to gain control of my dog but also to ensure that Carol is safe in public situations rather than being an extremely reactive dog outside of our home. Thanks again!!
