Off Leash K9 Training Milwaukee/ Madison

Very happy with the training my Lizzie received from Laurie. She's a very energetic & curious golden retriever (8 month old) puppy. She can now walk without pulling, sit and stay, down and place. I'm glad I can settle her down and feel like I have more control with her. I appreciated all the daily report cards and pics and videos. I enjoyed working with Laurie on pick up day. She did a great job explaining the commands and how to keep Lizzie in focus. Laurie has also followed up to see how she is doing at home and has made it clear that I can call or text with any questions I might have.I would highly recommend this program and Laurie!

Alex was amazing to have as Scoobys trainer!! He was easily reachable, super understanding and gave report cards everyday. Any questions or concerns I had he answered right away. At first I was nervous to send Scooby away for two weeks just because he is a big dog and still a puppy but as the days went on I knew he had the best interest for Scooby. Seeing Scooby enjoying his time and being so happy in the videos made me immediately comfortable and willing to trust Alex with my baby. He also gave lots of pictures and videos which was AMAZING!! During the reunion with Scooby, he was super informative and made sure to answer any questions I had or concerns. You can tell he truly cares about the work he does and all the dogs he handles. He pushed Scoobys boundaries in a good way and respected when Scooby didn’t like something. I loved all the stories I heard about Scooby and can tell he enjoyed his time there immediately seeing him. I can’t wait to see all the new things Scoobys learned also definitely worth the price !!!

My training goal with Ocho was for him to be off-leash in rural areas, which meant excellent recall from hundreds of yards away, even when distracted by squirrels, rabbits, deer, etc. I was concerned this would happen, since my understanding was that the OLK9 training is mostly on leash due to liability issues. My concerns were misplaced. Laurie did a great job! After his two-week training, it took just a couple of weeks for me to learn how to work with him and Ocho was ready to be off-leash. Every day we walk 4-5 miles and I only put him on leash as a safety precaution when we are near a road. He is also really good at all the commands, including leash walking without pulling. I loved the daily report cards and videos. I would recommend Laurie and this program to anyone.

From the first day we met Madeline, we have had a super experience. We started with the 1 hr sessions and moved to boarding training. Madeline kept us updated on everything she and Bullet worked on. When we picked Bullet up, Madeline spent lots of time with us making sure we were comfortable with commands. We could tell she really knows about training and enjoys working with dogs. In closing we are happy with the program and Madeline was exceptional.

The following words simply are not enough to express how grateful we are for our trainer, Laurie. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding of all our concerns. Her knowledge of canine behavior is remarkable, and she took the time to explain everything in a way that made us feel supported and confident. Our 7 month old corgi, Margot, is extremely smart but also extremely stubborn, and Laurie approached her with the perfect mix of structure and compassion. She listened to every question we had and went out of her way to make sure we understood what Margot was learning and why. The daily photos, videos, and updates made all the difference. They eased the sadness of having her away from home and helped us feel connected to her progress. During the turnover, Laurie walked us through each command with patience and clarity, making sure we felt comfortable and capable before we left. It was obvious how much she cared about Margot’s success and well-being. We never once felt like just another client. We felt like Margot was genuinely cared for. If you are looking for a trainer who is compassionate, knowledgeable, responsive, and dedicated to helping your dog thrive, we cannot recommend Laurie enough. Working with her has made such a meaningful difference for our little lady and for us.
