FirstBarkSuper weird on the phone and kind of rude. She seemed annoyed I called with questions about the different training options I could choose for my puppy. I was surprised because she has good ratings, and didn't expect the phone call to be so off-putting.

As both a professional dog trainer and intuitive animal communicator, she offers private in-home dog training throughout Spokane and Stevens Counties, plus group dog training classes at her cozy, forest-surrounded facility in the Deer Park area (Clayton). She also offers Animal Communication Services to a global clientele. Her boarding school for dogs provides immersive training and safe off-leash play in secure, fenced areas. I bought a 3-month-old, very under-socialized, Golden Retriever puppy. She had very high anxiety and fear. Lisa has helped us so much. With Lisa’s guidance Skylar is becoming braver and able to go places with me. Even though we were in group classes Lisa recognized what individual dog’s needs were and modified what they did to fit their needs.
I have done puppy class and advanced with my two pups and Lisa has been amazing! She helps you with any questions you have and those you didn’t know you had. The facility is easy to get to, clean, and spacious. Highly recommend her for training any day!

Our Bernese Mountain dog was so scared to play with other puppies and had serious separation anxieties. Lisa helped us to learn how to manage our puppies difficult issues and work in different modalities to have a better balanced dog. I will always go to Lisa for dog advice.

We cannot thank Lisa enough! When we started our 6 month old yellow lab and 2 year old pit mix running crazy in the house when someone came over, knocking over our 1 and 5 year olds, and taking 5 - 10 minutes to calm down after jumping on the guest. Additionally, walks were nearly impossible for my wife to walk one, much less both of them, due to getting to excited by people, cars, and other animals. After 1 month with Lisa's guidance and training, our dogs now sit in an area away from the door and wait for our command to greet the guest, as well as sitting, laying down, and staying in both commands. On walks, they will acknowledge the distractions, but are quick to turn their attention back to us, allowing all of our family to easily walk both dogs, even our 5 year old! Lisa's help has taken stress away from our daily routine with our pups, and has made outings with them much more enjoyable!
