North Star Family K-9

I found North Star K-9 online when looking for training options for my energetic Aussie mix puppy, Ivy. I was looking for something that wasn’t several months long but training that would be effective in a short amount of time. I am so glad to have found Hank and Nicole for Ivy but also for us as a family. Hank and Nicole have amazing open communication, sending texts, videos, and continued support ideas after training. Shortly after having Ivy trained with NSFK-9, we trusted Hank and Nicole to have Ivy for a week of boarding while we were out of town. During this time, they continued to give training refreshers, and send videos of Ivy socializing with other dogs. I will continue to send Ivy to Hank and Nicole for boarding and I feel confident that she is happy, loved and well taken care of while she is with them! Thank you North Star Family K-9!

We reached out to North Star Family K-9 with hopes of correcting some of the unwanted behaviors our very excitable golden retriever was displaying. We immediately connected with North Star Family K-9 and their philosophies of training. Throughout our pup’s board and train, we maintained an open line of communication and were able to take notes along the way as to how to carry over these skills at home. We knew that our pup was well cared for and loved using a firm and fair approach. Upon completion of his board and train, we were filled with the knowledge of how to implement these methods at home and set our pup up for success. Our first day home was filled with endless positive behaviors that we will of course be building upon. I am beyond happy to report that we even spent the afternoon playing fetch with our loving pup having the confidence that he would indeed come back to us. We are forever grateful for the hard work that North Star Family K-9 put forth for the benefit of not only our pup, but our entire family.
