Nathan Woods Dog Trainer

Nathan Woods and Santa Barbara Pet Services have been fantastic to all 3 of our dogs. Nathan is an amazing trainer- Since we have small children we did not want to take any chances with anything but a proven expert. Nathan has trained all of our dogs to be really well behaved and great family members. We frequently have the dogs spend the day at the Loose Pooch where they have a blast- the staff there knows what each dog likes and treats each dog as if they were family of their own. I have nothing but the highest regard for Nathan and the Loose Pooch!

After finishing two separate training programs with my golden retriever, Sundance, his dog aggression remained exactly the same. Frustrated I turned to Nathan Woods. He used patient techniques to teach my dog to be calm and less aggressive, and more obedient to basic commands. I never heard him raise his voice! And Sundance was always excited to be with him! My dog will probably always be a bit wary around strange dogs but he is so much calmer and even more importantly, I now have the tools to manage him, which decreases my stress immeasurably. I’m grateful to Nathan and his patient methods to intuit my dog’s fear and help him manage his aggression. So much so, I am enrolling my newest golden puppy in Nathan’s VIP training program!
