More Than Dog Training

In December of 2022, we adopted a 6 week old puppy. We quickly realized we were in over our heads and needed help. We searched high and low and passed up the obedience school “one size fits all” type classes for Caylen. After the first phone call, we felt much more at ease and decided to give her a shot. At this point, our pup was about 12 weeks old. We met Caylen for the first time and it became clear to us that she tailors the training to each individual dog based on their needs. She was very professional and our dog responded so well. Long story short, after a 6 week program, we decided to extend the training and Caylen offered us a tailored puppy program that would take us basically through the first year of our dog’s life. This training saved our sanity and made us as dog owners get closer to our dog in a way that didn’t seem possible. We now know how to communicate effectively and can just enjoy living our life with our dog without restrictions. Caylen is a lifesaver. She is so friendly, communicative, professional, and our dog absolutely adores her. Would recommend her 1000 times over.

So serendipitous. I spent a great deal of time researching dog trainers in the area and had a very specific need for my pup. Caylen called right away and I knew it was the right fit immediately. She was so flexible with my needs, kept my dog with her rather than kenneled, and sent me daily texts which I loved. My pup came back after three weeks and I can tell a big difference in his obedience. She’s so confident in her abilities, I highly recommend Caylen to anyone wanting someone to care for their dog AND make them even better dogs. So happy I found her. It’s so enjoyable to have the dog out with us now.

If I could give more stars I would. We just finished 4 weeks of board training for our dogs and we couldn't be more happy and thankful for all of Caylen's help. We had an issue with in house fights with our corgis and we needed to work on reactivity and helping them to be in peace. Caylen helped us not only to train and have better behaved dogs, but to understand their biological needs and what it makes them get into fights. With her insight and expertise we were able to build better relationships with our dogs and we couldn't be more excited for the next chapter in our lives with our pets. Aside from her dog training, Caylen was also extremely communicative and very good at managing our expectations. Her honesty and clarity made us feel at ease with having our dogs away from us and in her hands. She deserves all the praise and good reviews she has.

Caylen was a lifesaver! My pittie mix had a history of abusive trauma before I adopted him and it's been a journey on so many levels. After over a year of trainings, general obedience and off leash was great but still had serious issues with leash aggression. AGAIN, after trying MULTIPLE trainers, I had one session with Caylen specific to leash aggression and she was able to accurately assess and provide me the exact tool that I needed for my dog to rid that type of behavior. I continued on that week using the same tool and saw a 90% reduction in that behavior in just ONE WEEK! I can happily say that my dog has an occurrence once every 10 walks but only last maybe a few seconds versus 10-15 seconds it was before. I HIGHLY recommend Caylen not only for leash aggression, but for everything because she really knows her stuff! I will be following up with her for more advanced dog training because of this.
