More Than Dog Training

I could say so many amazing and wonderful things about Caylen. I reached out to her because I desperately wanted my puppy to be off leash. She is an excellent dog trainer and my pup has never been happier and more excited. With every private session I learned so much and so did my puppy! I learned how to communicate with my dog and learned how to trust her, as my puppy learned to do the same with me! I had no prior knowledge to E collars before this and believed that they were evil and painful. Caylen reassured me that was not the case AT ALL and the E collar was a helpful tool to be able to talk to my dog in a way they understand. By our last session I was confident in the things we had learned and the training we had been practicing and my pup was running around getting to be a dog that could be free. Everything was worth it for her happiness and I would not hesitate to do it all again. I'm sure there are a lot of wonderful dog trainers out there but I can tell you there's no one like Caylen. She is patient and confident and extremely knowledgeable with dog psychology and health!

I reached out to Caylen when we hit a wall with our puppy training. I always thought we were good dog trainers and owners but our newest member of our family had become a challenge at 8 months old... she is big, strong, pushy and bull headed. She was wild, reactive, pulling on leash no matter now much we tried to train her and just was going in the wrong direction and it was concerning. I found Caylen through researching training techniques on social media. We did 1:1 with her since we are pretty good at doing the "reps" and she was able to help us fine tune, tweak and also introduce new tools so that now we have a great family member that is now manageable and able to walk off leash (which was my goal at the beginning). I can't say enough good things about Caylen. She is a great communicator and mentor. I am so glad we invested in getting help. My husband was little skeptical and thought we could get where I wanted to be with our pup just needed time. But honestly, I don't think we could have. Especially the off leash. ITs been great. I have techniques and tools to keep moving forward and we are in a good place. Highly recommend. 10/10!

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the results of our dog’s 4 week board and training with Caylen. While coco was away for 4 weeks, Caylen communicated daily with pictures, videos, and texts. She was kind and patient and available to answer any questions. The education we received as dog parents has been invaluable. Now we are equipped with confidence the ability to continue the training Coco practiced with Caylen. 
A few examples we have especially appreciated are: the immediate down position to achieve a relaxed state, off leash for hiking and unfenced yard, and crate training. Remember, it’s a two way street and as an owner you will have continued support while implementing what was taught.

Caylen was amazing with my boy, Moses! He did the 4-week board and train. His manners, obedience, and skills are amazing upon his return. He is so easy to work with. Walking him is such a joy now. He was a serious leash puller. His recall is amazing now - I can call him easily if something distracts him. I have been able to divert him easily from unwanted behaviors like barking at the neighbors dogs (he doesn't even do it much anymore. In the past when he did I couldn't get his attention and can now easily). She communicated regularly throughout the process and I never worried about how he was doing or his safety. Its like I was there with him. Caylen is really responsive and easy to reach. She is also easy to understand and a good teacher for the humans too. I learned a ton about how to communicate with my dog. She taught me how to better advocate for him and have his back. It has been way easier to introduce him to new people and also know what situations to avoid to keep him happy and safe. If you're thinking about working with her - do it!

Caylen is kind and compassionate and a gifted dog trainer. Our pup was very conflicted when we started our training sessions. At the end of 8 weeks he knew exactly what we were asking for and was enjoying his weekly sessions. We have continued to build our bond around the communication skills with our dog that Caylen taught us. He is thriving and understands his boundaries. I whole heartedly recommend their services!!
