Does modern dog training have board and train program?

Hi Mike- We do not provide nor recommend board and train services. The board and train setup is extremely ineffective overall; the dog will of course respond to the trainer but it is highly unlikely any success will carry over to everyday life at home or for the guardian. The most effective training option is always private in-home lessons. In this setup, we work together to teach the guardian how to effectively manage and communicate with their dog. We caution against any type of board and train for safety reasons. There are many facilities and trainers that can endanger and/or otherwise cause harm to your dog both physically and mentally when you are not present.

We can’t say enough good things about Amanda at modern dog! She helped our now 1 year old pit mix Leo through his teenage phase, which has been… challenging. Thanks to her, we realized how smart he really is, and the training completely changed how we handle things at home. Even his daycare noticed how much better his behavior got afterward! It honestly saved our sanity. We’re so grateful for her help and highly recommend her to anyone struggling with training!

Highly recommend Modern Dog if you'd like to learn how to properly train your pup! Amanda is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and was able to teach us the proper techniques for managing our Italian Greyhounds energy and demand barking. We did the in home training which was very convenient and have had extremely positive results after the 4 lessons we purchased.
