The appreciation I have for what John and the MCC family have done for my pups is truly beyond words. MCC has been such a blessing for my Dutchie, Cinder, and my foster pup, Candy. The care, patience, and genuine heart they pour into every dog and their owners is rare to find nowadays. Cinder does at home sessions with John and has made incredible progress. After a previous negative experience with another trainer that left her nervous, I was honestly hesitant to trust someone new with her training. From the very first session, John showed understanding, patience, and a calm confidence that immediately put both of us at ease. He didn’t just focus on obedience, he took the time to teach me how to better communicate with her, how to build her confidence through training, and what works best for her needs and her breed. Watching Cinder grow from nervousness into confidence has been incredibly emotional for me. Seeing her thrive and knowing I have the tools to continue supporting her is something I will always be grateful for. Candy’s story is just as meaningful to me. She had such a hard start in life, found roaming the streets at only 3 months old and spending months in a shelter before coming to me. She arrived with no in home experience, but with the sweetest heart and energy. She is currently in MCC’s 3-week board and train program, and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with her training and care. Knowing she is learning the foundational obedience and structure she needs to succeed in her forever home gives me so much peace. MCC has not only invested in her training, but has also provided me with guidance so I can help set her up for the best possible future. John and MCC consistently go above and beyond. The integrity, professionalism, and genuine passion they show for dogs and their families is rare and deeply appreciated. I had the pleasure of working with Ross on training my Dalmatian on building confidence as well as overall obedience. Ross is professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from the very beginning. What I appreciate most is how practical his approach is l and how the training methods are clear, realistic to practice at home, and focused on building good habits rather than quick fixes. After just a few sessions, I started seeing real improvements in my dog’s behavior, anxiety, and overall demeanor. Ross is very patient and took the time to explain what we should be doing and why it works, which made it much easier for us to stay consistent. Overall, I had a very positive experience, and the training made a noticeable difference. It's been almost a year since our dog (Greta) attended a 5 week bootcamp at MCC. She has really been doing well. Her obedience is very good, she is much more comfortable in public, and she has really settled in at home. I take her out to stores, restaurants, and bewerys almost every day and she has really settled in to being in public places. She still does not like strangers that act like they are going to touch/interact with her at close range, but she responds quickly to direction and is begining to trust that I'm not going to let anyone she doesn't know touch her. Her drive to train, play, and learn new games is still super strong, and she has become much more attached to, and obedient with both of us. I expect she will only get better as she continues to mature. That 5 week boot camp was a life changer for all of us. It gave her a solid foundation, and gave me the confidence and techniques I needed to be able to handle her the way she needs and wants.

We would highly recommend MCC for any training needs. Our dog Reamer, entered the 3 week basic obedience board and train program. My wife and I couldn’t walk him on a leash and we wanted to get him a jump start that we wouldn’t be able to provide him on our own. He would basically drag us on the leash. After 3 weeks, John at MCC has Reamer walking on a leash by our side without pulling at all. We are so grateful for getting our dog jump started and obedient. He now sits on command, lays down on command, and recalls on command off leash. Thanks so much John!
