Love, love Merit and her facility. I only have to mention her name and my Diego starts getting excited. We did our training there and so it is wonderful that he's expected to behave there as well as at home and with the same signals. Diego stayed there for 3 weeks and I was worried about it but besides coming home tired, he couldn't wait to go back. He goes every Friday to doggy daycare and loves it. Training with Merit gave me the tools I needed as an owner to understand and reinforce commands with my dog at home. We now have an easy going and understanding relationship and he is now 4years old. Diego was not even a year old when he started at Merits.Highly recommend!

After adopting a very active, energetic and somewhat stubborn little dog, I knew right away I needed some help. Merit is an amazing dog trainer. She understands the dog’s behaviors and trains using praise & rewards. She is very good at explaining reasons for the dog’s behavior which allowed me to continue the training at home. My dog responded well to Merit and was always excited to return. He has made amazing progress and he and I are much happier. I highly recommend MeritDog Training!
