FirstBarkHad a great experience with Merit. We did a video session since I have immune issues. It worked Wonderful and was a great help in dealing with my Cairn terrier and some of his problems (indoor potty issues, feed, boredom, etc). Merit helped tremendously and her suggestions have worked great.

Merit worked with me and our 9yo lab/catahoula mix on socialization, mostly with other dogs but also getting used to greeting strangers. He’s a very sweet boy but he’s a big boy with a big scary bark. He learned several other commands but most of all, I learned how to work with him and he trusts me not to put him in a bad situation. We’ve had several successful meetings with dogs he didn’t know since finishing the training. I’m glad we did this and I’m glad we persevered when it seemed hopeless because we had an amazing outcome!
Merit’s training has been excellent for my pup pup so far! She always includes what to do, why to do it, and how to do it in her explanations. Looking forward to spending more time with Merit and my puppers so my puppers is the best dog she can be!
Training a new puppy seemed a bit overwhelming. Merit broke it down into small, doable pieces and made the process much less intimidating. I really looked forward to going to class and getting to learn with my lab. The prices are very reasonable and class sizes are small.
MeritDog Training has turned my crazy puppy into a wonderful member of the family. She’s helped me and my puppy understand each other. She is caring, experienced and very knowledgeable.
