FirstBarkMerit is amazing. My boxer Stryker was overly excited to see or meet another dog. His personality is so different now. We just got back from a successful camping trip. She really understands how a dog's mind works and gets them to listen. Her teaching is simple enough to repeat at home.
Merit is a dog whisperer! She explains every step in the training process to help you understand how the training works. It is very empowering to have that help/information given from someone who believes in you and your pet!
Merit helped me train my five year old Australian Shepard, Doug. Doug is a sweet dog, but had aggressive behavior towards other dogs. Once we finished the lessons, he’s able to be around other dogs and there is a noticeable change in his behavior. Merit is very patient and knowledgeable, I highly recommend her to train a dog at any age.
Meritdog Training helped with our very willful and energetic lab pup. She helped us learn how to be more effective dog parents. She trains with humor, warmth and a wealth of knowledge. Her understanding of dogs is uncanny. (A friend who referred us calls Merit “The Dog Whisperer”.) She also follows up with great training info to help keep you and your dog on track. Would definitely recommend!
