Lucky Mutt Dog Training

I will say first that being an Aussiedoodle owner is not an easy job! This momma was at my whits end when I came across the Lucky Mutt Dog Training website. The description of problems listed under Private in-home training fit my 4-month-old puppy precisely! Ben was out yesterday for the first of four sessions. He had been very communicative and encouraging by phone and email. I most appreciated Ben's assistance in helping me think like my puppy and how to anticipate a bad behavior and correct/redirect it before it happens. The best thing for me was getting my pup into a harness and leash that eliminates pulling and allows me to reward him for looking at me and walking beside me. This has gone extremely well and I'm SO relieved! Another fun thing we are doing together is feeding two meals per day on a "place" rug which encourages calm. One of my biggest dilemmas is my puppy's overly hyper temperament around guests and meeting people/dogs on walks. I am very much looking forward to working on that! After one day of Ben's instructions and suggestions, I believe the next three weeks will bring us some wonderful results! I am also very appreciative of Ben's followup email covering what we did yesterday to make sure we stay on track. So far, very good! I have a happy, very smart boy...I believe he can be his best by working with Ben to help with both "puppyisms" and "Aussiedoodleisms"!

We recently left our 6 month old Cockapoo for three weeks for a board and train with Ben and Anna. They took such good care of her and she loved her time there. They sent us updates with photos and videos during her stay and gave her a bath and nail trim on pickup. They really care about the dogs that stay with them and went above and beyond to help educate us and give us as much information and help as they could after pickup. I’d recommend them to anyone and everyone!
