Lucky Mutt Dog Training

We started looking into Lucky Mutt for our 7 month old Shepherd. We loved their Pro-Dog/Treat Based approach, and once we spoke with Ben on their process and what we can expect, we were sold! After 4 weeks of board and train we had a pup who was calmer and who really looked to us for direction! Our fur baby is ALL ABOUT his family and can get quite crazy, especially around the children. Ben and Anna worked with him on calming games and teaching him to shut off his energy. They have done a wonderful job! We have continued these games at home along with the other strategies set by Lucky Mutt! Please remember that Ben and Anna set up the foundation but it is your job, as a responsible pet owner, to continue to work on and improve these skills with your dog! We also get a follow-up session with them to check-in and work on any issues we have. We actually plan to board our dog with them when we are vacation because of how great they were with him and the care they took. If you are looking for pro-dog, life long learning with your dog then Lucky Mutt is your place!

Ben and Anna have done a fantastic job with our 1 yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup and helping him find calmness and focus through positive reinforcement training. They went above and beyond in sharing with us frequent updates on our pup's progress over his 4 week board and train and also sharing with us a video they recorded with our pup on what we can do to continue building our relationship with him. We've been working with Ben for several months with our anxious girl, Murphy. Ben has helped us to help Murphy feel safer so she can be less reactive to dogs on walks, and has given us lots of ways to manage her stranger danger when guests come into our home. He uses positive reinforcement, which is one of the reasons we sought out Lucky Mutt. Additionally, he helped get us in touch with a veterinary behaviorist for her crippling separation anxiety. I appreciate his willingness to work with us on what he can help with, and to know when we needed to bring in the 'big dogs' so to speak. Ben and Anna are so knowledgeable about dogs and behavior modification. We recently had some private training sessions for our two new dogs who were struggling with adapting to eachother in a smaller house as well as having resource guarding and leash reactivity issues. Ben had such great advice and training activities for us. After the first week of practicing what we have learned, we are already seeing our dogs understand eachother with less fear and reactivity toward each other and no fighting. They are also picking up on the training and our leash reactive dog has also made some improvement. They now seem to actually enjoy each other's company We have also used their online rock star puppy academy for our first dog and she is so well trained at 1 year old we get complements on her public behavior all the time.
