Lucky Mutt Dog Training

As a rescue organization, we rely on dedicated and knowledgeable professionals, and Ben and Anna went above and beyond for us. The expertise, time, and compassion they invested in our cause were truly remarkable. Their flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile made a significant impact, and we are incredibly grateful for their support. I used their services for a 6 week Board and Train for my dog in December 2023, and have been amazed by the results. My dog had done basic obedience training, but needed more structure, and guidance, as he was showing signs of boredom, and was leading to behavior issues. My dog's behavior is drastically improved, to the point of that he will recall off-leash in a dog park setting. Lucky Mutt was very communicative throughout the training process - from emailing periodic updates, to sending me a holiday photo of him, to doing videos of my dog using the skills he was learning. They also provided a full video of all commands that I can reference at any time. I will always recommend Lucky Mutt for training. It is a great investment in your dog to make a happier life for all!

I did one at home training session with Ben and he gave me more to work with than a six week basic obedience course has! He took his time walking me through every issue that I have been struggling with my dog. It was a TON of information which was great but a little overwhelming at points. However, after the session he wrote up a really thorough follow up email with all of the next steps, new games to try with my dog, a detailed plan for separation anxiety, and even filmed an example video walking through everything with a similar dog as mine!! I am already seeing a lot of progress just after one day. Ben went above and beyond, and I am excited to work with him again after we implement all of the amazing things we were shown!

We brought our dog Sparky to Ben and Anna for: impulse control/ calming methods/unprovoken tangents to name a few. This is alot to ask of anyone. After a 2 month stay at Lucky Mutt Sparky returned home with an impressive foundation for us to build on, now its up to us to follow through and build up. Sparky has been in and out of the Humane Society several times for his behavior and we did consider it as well BUT not now!!! Sparky returned home after the course with the understanding of calm, accepting direction, better choices. As mentioned, the foundation has been laid. Trust the process ; ) Follow through, its 50% human training and 50% doggie training (my opinion) Thanks to Anna and Ben Sparky is in his forever home!! Joni and Kathy I added another photo over a year and a half later and we are doing great. Thank you so much!!!
