Loyalty and Legacy

Jade (aka Galaxy Dog Training and Day Care) takes great care of our puppy. Linus is a sweetheart, but he is a very large puppy (approx. 90lbs) and can be a lot. Jade has given him a safe place to play and train. She sends pictures most days showing what he’s been up to and tells us what they worked on at the end of each day. She has asked our permission to take him on hikes and outings (see pictures), and he has enjoyed every one! Our first trainer encouraged us not to send Linus to day care unless they do a nap time. Jade offers a great mix of play, training, and nap time, all in an intimate, home setting. She only accepts 5 dogs max each day, so you know your dog is getting lots of individual attention. She has even started hosting a play group every Sunday for the dogs that attend daycare during the week. Since our puppy has started attending training and daycare with Jade, he has become less mouthy and barks less during the “witching hours” in the evenings. He whines as soon as we pull up to her house and never wants to go home at the end of the day. As I write this, he’s passed out after a long day of play and training. I highly recommend Jade and Galaxy Dog Training and Day Care. I know our puppy looks forward to many more years of getting to train and play with Jade!

We love Jade! We sent our 6 month old wild Bernedoodle puppy for a 3 week board and train and must admit we were skeptical that he would actually come back with any sort of skills. We had been trying to train him at home but although very smart, he was also very stubborn and did not seem to grasp some of the concepts long-term. We were frustrated and knew we had to call in an expert! And Jade is just that! She was amazing from communication daily, videos, tutorials and after follow up visits. Theo came home a different dog! He still has a lot of learning to do but we feel confident with the skills and techniques we were taught that he will continue to make great progress. And, he loves boarding with Jade and her awesome pups when we are out of town! Highly recommend!

I have a 2 year old Goldendoodle named Georgie who has a lot of energy . I was bringing him to a daycare establishment in my town which was overflowing with dogs and did not provide any training . After my dog receiving 3 ‘bad’ report cards , he was kicked out of daycare . I am a hairstylist and was explaining the situation to a client of mine and it just so happened Jade was getting her hair done for her wedding in the chair close to my station . After hearing my story , she stated she ran a daycare and training program out of her home . We exchanged information and I contacted her for some daycare and training sessions . Jade has worked wonders with Georgie by teaching him how to not pull on the leash with a consistent reward system, controlling his reactivity and exposing him to every day public outings such as going on walks while seeing people/other dogs (which was a huge struggle for me controlling his impulse to react) and going to stores that allow dogs for some exposure therapy. Myself and my partner thought it was only a dream to be able to take Georgie anywhere public without having to leave immediately because we did not have to tools to control his reactivity . Jade’s calm manner and ability to demonstrate what to do in those situations in private lessons has turned Georgie in to a well behaved and mannered dog . There is still some work to do but I can fully see the change In Georgie as well as building the confidence in myself to guide him appropriately due to Jade’s techniques. I cannot recommend Jade enough to build a great partnership with you and your pup!
