KW Happy Dogs

Kirsten Wojcik is no ordinary trainer. As a certified behavior consultant, she understands what motivates both dogs and their humans. She is also a tremendous coach, mentor, and cheerleader. As a new dog owner, I was fortunate to have met such an attentive, intuitive partner to guide me through the aches, pains, and joys of establishing and nurturing a relationship with my new pup. Together we address problems and issues, and it’s not just during our sessions—Kirsten makes herself infinitely available in-between by phone, text, and email. I always know I can reach out to Kirsten no matter how big or small my concern is. The combination of her deep skills as a trainer and her warmth and emotional intelligence as a human being make her truly one of a kind.

We were fortunate enough to find Kirsten when we realized that we needed help with our 95lb puppy--shepherd mix with a lot of energy! She addressed his issues by knowing his breed and how he thinks so she was able to help us train him with specific problems we were having. She is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and was a perfect fit for us. She made a huge difference in our lives and now we have a happier dog and happier family!

Kirsten is truly my hero. We've been working together as I'm raising an adolescent German Shepherd pup (my first dog). Kirsten continues to make this challenging time both joyful and hopeful. Her confidence about what he needs and what is going on for him is so grounding and helpful. Her games, training tips, and suggestions have made a huge difference for us as we navigate this full time job of training our boy. Her ability to remain calm during stressful moments while training at the park is admirable and so important! Kirsten's love for dogs and skillfulness really shines in her work. She doesn't just help train our dog, she helps us understand him and care for him exactly how he needs.

I have been fortunate enough to be working with Kirsten with my 6 year old Papillon on dog reactive concerns that cropped up after we brought a new puppy into the home to join our family a year ago. Kirsten’s skills in working with both of us, and the new puppy has given us new tools to work with, a solid confidence and an all inspiring joy and respect for the talent Kirsten brings to the profession of dog training. Coco and I continue to work with Kirsten and my little guy would tell you he is head over paws for her whenever he sees her, which I would suggest is a bonus of a great trainer working on complex situations.
