Kirsten is a wonder with dogs of all sizes. She helped train us (and all our kids) to train our sweet Pepper. Kirsten's patience and exuberance is contagious, even through pandemic puppy training. We couldn't have done it without her!

So, when my personal dog, Jace, began to show serious aggression behaviors, I turned to Kirsten of KW Happy Dogs to help me through. Kirsten is fantastic! She explains things so calmly and clearly, it was easy to follow her instructions. Her calm demeanor also helped Jace be calm in her presence, which allowed the training to be more effective. Now, I refer all dogs with aggression to Kirsten. I know that she will take care of every dog and owner as calmly and compassionately as she took care of Jace and me. I cannot recommend her enough.

Kirsten is unquestionably the finest trainer I have worked with (and we have worked with quite a few). Besides the usual qualities one would expect from a trainer, she brings to the table something I never expected and takes the training to another level: the ability to "read" the dogs behavior. Allowing us to develop training techniques (and she has a basket-full, believe me) to correct the inappropriate behavior or to reinforce the desired behavior.
