KW Happy Dogs

I'm so grateful to have found Kirsten! First, she uses positive, kind reinforcement and helps dogs become active, happy participants in their training. I have a 9 month old who is super smart and super skeptical of new people. Kirsten helped me understand not only what my dog needs to be successful, but why. She looks at the Whole Dog — including their breed mixes, specific personality traits, history and current behaviors — and helps provide owners the tools and resources for happy dogs and people. Also, as others have mentioned, her follow up emails are extremely, extremely helpful!

Kirsten is the best!!! I was losing confidence and hopeless when my pup started to show more aggression/anxiety after being neutered, but thanks to Kirsten, I've built my confidence back. She does not waste time and the moment we meet, she is watching and analyzing my dogs behavior as well as mine. The transformation I'm seeing with my dog in the past few months is incredible. He has built his confidence and now smiling, relaxed, sniffing/exploring more without being super alert and distracted. We're so glad to have met Kirsten and couldn't be more happier with her.

Kirsten is great! During our first in-person meeting with Kirsten, with every activity that we did, she explained the purpose, what it'll do, various ways to accomplish it if need be, and how it connects to Monte's breed as a Belgian Malinois. During this time, she also pointed out behaviors that he exhibited and the meaning. There was a lot that we, as Monte's owners, did not realize or had misunderstood. Working with a behaviorist, such as Kirsten, is a huge difference. We have been turned down by other dog trainers who said that because of his breed, it would be nearly impossible to work with his anxiety and fixation. It was then refreshing to work with Kirsten, who doesn't just look at Monte's breed; she takes in account his breed, and explains why he does what he does, then connects it to activities that will help him. It has only been a week and we've seen a vast improvement in Monte. We've learned a lot of valuable information from Kirsten and are excited to continue working with her. Monte is an eight-year-old Belgian Malinois that we had adopted over a year ago.

Kirsten is amazing! My relationship with my dog has never been better. My dog Zoey had some training and behavior issues that I needed help with. Kirsten was able to help me with almost everything in just two visits. An hour with her is like five with any other trainer I’ve used. I’ll absolutely continue to use her in the future. Not only do you get the training session, it is followed up with very detailed information on what was covered during the training, links to products and videos that would be helpful, and so much more. I can’t say enough about Kirsten. She is amazing and a true dog whisperer!
