Kodiak K9 Training

Kodiak K9 is amazing!! Our puppy Maggie spent two weeks with Ellie and Jake to work on obedience, leash walking, and manners. She’s a Great Pyrenees, so we were worried about her behavior when she gets bigger. The improvement has been amazing during her training! We were able to see Maggie’s improvement throughout the entire training period with updates, and I really appreciated that they spent time with us at the end of the training to make sure that we would continue to be successful at home. Our relationship with our puppy has improved so much, and we’re way less worried about her. Jake and Ellie answered all of our questions, and I loved that our dog was part of the family during her stay. This was probably the best investment we could have made in our dog.

I recently adopted a six-month-old Cocker Spaniel, full of energy and curiosity, but also a handful when it came to behavior. A close friend suggested I consider professional training and specifically recommended Kodiak K-9 Training, led by Brad. At first, I was hesitant. She was still so young, and I wasn’t sure if intensive training was the right move just yet. However, after three exhausting weeks of struggling to manage her behavior, especially when taking her out in public, I realized we needed help. Everyday activities became stressful, and I knew something had to change. Eventually, I decided to enroll her in a three-week training program with Brad at Kodiak K-9. When we picked her up after the training, I was absolutely amazed. The transformation was nothing short of remarkable. She now responds promptly and confidently to every command, and her overall demeanor is much calmer and more focused. The obedience and discipline she gained in just a few weeks have completely changed our experience as pet owners for the better.

I took my frenchie there, and he came back 10 lbs lighter and stressed out. I wanted him trained by the owner but said he would go to a different trainer. I took a while to opine because I didn't want my emotions to hinder my review. My frenchie, after 2 weeks, only knew to sit. I'm beyond disappointed and throw away money. The owner gave me 2 free hats for comensations. Wouldn't recommend for frenchies.

I can't recommend Kodiak K9 highly enough. Kevin was responsive to our questions. They were flexible with payment options and in constant contact during the training session. He kept us appraised of our pup's progress with pictures and videos throughout the 3 weeks. He focused directly on the issues we were having with our dog. Since he's been home, we've seen none of the issues we were previously experiencing. He no longer pulls on walks. He doesn't counter surf which used to be a daily issue. He doesn't race out the door when we open it and he's gentle when greeting new people. I can't say enough great things about Kevin and the crew and Kodiak K9. If you need a board and train company, I can't urge you strongly enough to consider them for your training needs.
