Kodiak K9 Training

Highly recommend Kodiak K9! Bubba, our 5 month old puppy, needed training in manners, walking, and just over all obedience. Bubba is a 50% Siberian Husky mix, and is stubborn, easily distracted, and just a big boy (he is strong!) He was pulling and jumping on walks, which was frustrating to us as owners. He was jumping on us when we were sitting on sofa's and was not listening and not well behaved. It was getting frustrating for our entire family, and walking was not fun. After connecting with Kodiak K9, we sent him off for three weeks to be trained with Natalie, who is very experienced with puppies. While 5 months might have been a little too early, Kodiak said Natalie could help, as she is experienced with puppies. He lived with Natalie and her family, including kids and other dogs, and when we got him back we saw huge improvements. He is now walking without pulling or jumping, will heel, stay in place, not jump on our senior parents, and is just better behaved. Walking him is a pleasure and he will stay in place during dinner. Natalie knows how to train, especially puppies, and we appreciate all that she did for us, and Bubba. She's been available to us for additional guidance after his 3 week training, and I've been giving her updates of our progress at home too. We are just so proud of him and the training helped with my confidence! Bubba is really becoming such a great dog, which is what we wanted. Highly recommend Natalie and Kodiak K9. Sent my 6 month old puppy for training while I was out of town. Megan was wonderful. She took time to meet with me ahead of time and thoroughly explain the process and ease my concerns. I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with her. She regularly sent me videos and updates. My dog came back sweet as when she left but with manners and the ability to listen. I have lots to do to maintain and continue the training, Just this last weekend I took her to the airport to greet veterans. She did great--calm, not spooked by the planes, subways, people and wheelchairs and she listened well. I would highly recommend Megan. She and her family gave my dog lots of love and just the right amount of training. Thank you!

I did the board and train for 2 weeks with Kevin, and I can’t believe how much Enzo has changed! He is a completely different dog now! He came back walking really well on a leash, which is such a relief. Before, it was a bit of a struggle, but now he’s so much more focused and responsive. What impresses me the most is that he listens to our commands even while in distracting environments, like when we go to the park or around other dogs. It’s like he’s really tuned in to what we’re saying, and it feels great to have that level of control. I’ve noticed he’s much more confident and relaxed, too, which makes our outings so much more enjoyable. I’m so grateful for Kevin’s help.
