K9Aholics Dog Training

I had an amazing experience with K9aholics and highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog training and boarding services. Originally, my dog was scheduled to stay for two weeks, but the trainer recommended extending his stay to three weeks. Looking back, this was absolutely the best decision my family and I could have made. Before training, my dog struggled with several behaviors. He constantly pulled on the leash during walks, barked at nearly everyone who passed by, and was overly reactive to other dogs. Walking him was honestly very challenging. Since completing the program, I’ve seen a huge transformation. I’ve had him home for about 3–4 days now, and he is like a completely different dog. We can now go on walks without any pulling, and he responds much better to commands. The training didn’t just stop when he came home—they equipped us with the tools we need to continue his progress. We’ve been consistently implementing the commands they taught us, and it’s made a big difference. I also really appreciated the daily report cards and video updates. They kept me informed every step of the way and always communicated if anything came up. My dog is a 14-month-old German Shepherd, Boxer, and Husky mix, which can definitely be a lot to handle. But thanks to K9aholics, I now feel much more confident managing him on my own, even though I do have support from my family. A special thank you to Mikayla and Haleigh for being so kind, communicative, and supportive throughout the entire process. You both made this experience even better. We brought our 1 year old lab for a 3 week board and train program and could not be more pleased! Our pup had so much fun while she was there, and came home much better behaved and willing to learn! The staff is also very diligent in ensuring that we are comfortable with the commands to help her continue to learn, and have been very helpful in following up! You can tell they really love what they do and are great at it!

Our 90lb German Shepherd has struggled with reactivity for the entire 3 years we have had him. Any public setting or people entering our home has been a struggle. We felt so hopeless we even considered if our home was still the right one for him. Thank God we found the team at K9aholics and Kat. They transformed our dog in a one month day training. This is not a one size fits all program. They listen and really work with you to get to the root of the problem, and ultimately give you the confidence to work with your dog at home. I will be training all of my future dogs with them. Their communication was amazing, you get daily updates on your dog, and they really care about the work they do.
