K954 Dog Training

Moving from Texas to south Florida I needed to continue training for my service dog. That is where Ella, a service dog, came in. Saw her at Starbuck’s and chatted with her owner. This chance meeting led us to Niketa at K-954 Dog Training. I am so grateful for that day. The professional, caring, and understanding of my needs and my dogs were more than met here. The training has taken us to a whole new level of confidence in the ability of Gilda mastering service skills. Niketa works continually with not only her but just as importantly, my training. Niketa listens to your needs and shows exactly how your dog can improve through these lessons. Never harsh, but firm, always kind and gentle, Gilda adores her, as do I. Niketa sets standards in training that would make any owner proud. Gilda has now passed Niketa’s certification level, but we look forward to continue monthly training. Yes, that is how mch Gilda loves it. We could not be more happier.

Niketa is everything anyone could ask for in a dog trainer and we are grateful to the Monks of New Skete for recommending her. My almost 2 year old male boerboel is a LOT of dog, especially for a petite woman with an easy going leadership style. Nikita gave me a few suggestions about how to change my body language and exude confidence and the training is going so much more smoothly now. Thanks to Niketa, I didn't have to change my personality to effectively train Bruce. Niketa clearly tailors her training advice to each dog and their human. In my case, with simple and clear direction after an explanation for why that particular training advice will work or is appropriate for the situation. The homework exercises are so easy and fun for us to execute that it is just a part of daily life; we train all day and not just at specific times set aside for training. It is so fun, that my 9 year old St Bernard joins us just for the fun (OK maybe the treats). Nikita listens to successes and advises on situations that were not as successful as they could have been. We cannot say enough about Nikita and LOVE training.

After reaching out to multiple dog trainers we knew right away that Niketa would be the best fit for our anxious dog Maggie. Niketa doesn't use the same methods for every dog, she takes the time to learn about your dog and to see how and why things effect their behavior and then creates a training plan based on these factors. In only a couple of months we have seen such an improvement in Maggie's confidence and with her anxiety. Niketa really puts her heart into her work and we highly recommend her!

I have an 8 year old chihuahua named Ace. Amazing dog but he has EXTREME ANXIETY!!! With only 1 in home visit she has literally changed my life around. He used to wine and scream everytime I walked out the door or wasn’t in his eyes view!! It was terrible!! The lady left us with some training exercises to keep at everyday and OMG IN JUST 5 days the wining almost completely stopped!! AN OLD DOG CAN LEARN NEW WAYS WITH THIS YOUNG LADY PLEASE GIVE HER A SHOT!!
