Mylo and I started working with Naquita when he was about 5 months old, and the progress has been amazing. As a first-time dog owner with a deaf dog, we were both struggling. Mylo was extremely energetic with no off switch and would not settle, even under supervision. He was constantly getting into things, tearing up my house, jumping on people, had no manners or obedience, and pulled on walks. Naquita has helped us with all of that. She taught me how to calm him using mental resets, correct unwanted behaviors, and—most importantly—how to communicate with my deaf dog and understand him. I’ll never forget our first session. Within minutes of meeting Mylo, she corrected his jumping, and after an hour of training he was completely mentally exhausted something he had never experienced before. Naquita is incredibly knowledgeable, especially with deaf dogs, patient, and an amazing teacher to both the dog and the owner. Her training plans are not one-size-fits-all. She took the time to understand Mylo and my specific needs. She’s always just a text away and continues to offer support outside of sessions. You have to be willing to put in the work, but if you are, she will absolutely help take your dog to the next level.

A friend recommended Niketa for our two dogs Moose and Mabel. Mabel is 1.5 and Moose is 2.5 and we thought it would be too late to get them trained. Niketa was so reassuring that it’s never too late. That couldn’t be more true, in just under two months we’ve seen a tremendous change in both of our dogs. Our girl is super fearful of a lot of things and we’ve seen her confidence build since starting with Niketa. Our boy has learned so so much, he’s a completely different dog on the leash now and we’ve learned how to manage his anxiety and defiance. Niketa has been awesome, we cannot recommend her expertise enough. She is always a text away with any questions or concerns we’ve had and ours dogs love to see her on training days.
