K9 Concepts Dog Training

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Gus at K-9 Concepts to train both of our dogs—our German Shepherd, Lady, when she was 2.5 years old, and our Doberman Pinscher, Lincoln, at just a year old. From the beginning, Gus impressed us with his calm, confident approach and deep understanding of dog behavior. Thanks to Gus, both of our dogs now have excellent manners and a strong foundation in obedience. His training techniques are incredibly effective and clearly communicated—not just to the dogs, but to us as owners, which made a huge difference. What’s even better is how much our dogs genuinely enjoy working with him. They are always eager to learn and respond so well to his guidance. Gus has helped create a lasting bond of respect and trust between us and our dogs, and we’re so grateful for the skills and structure he’s provided. I would be remiss not to mention Ragnar, Gus’s late German Shepherd and K-9 co-trainer. Ragnar exhibited model behavior and played an important role in socializing our dogs. We are forever grateful to Ragnar—may he rest in peace. We can’t recommend K-9 Concepts and Gus highly enough!

We took Gator which is little over 2 years old two Mr. Gus due to Gator was very hyper wouldn't listen and jumped on everybody or anything. Picked him up a couple of days ago and its literally like having a new dog. Very well behaved listens to all commands . I'm shocked ....now i realize sometimes when you baby a dog like i can personally do its not always the right thing to do. I was worried about leaving my baby due to he had never been away from home but I could see the love Gator and Gus already had for each other. Thank you so much for caring for my big boy and loving him but at the same time showing him whats right and wrong. Also teaching my husband and I what we should know to do as owners as well. I cant say THANK YOU enough. I will definitely be looking forward to keeping Gator up to date on training. recommend you 10/10.
