FirstBarkMarcus did a wonderful job training our foster dog from the local shelter. We learned a lot from him in the process so we can apply those skills to future fosters. Marcus really knows his craft and he is an excellent communicator. We most definitely recommend him.

We brought a new puppy home back in March, and quickly started noticing ressource guarding issues and aggressive behavior between him and our older dog. On top of that, they were both showing reactivity inside and outside the house & our puppy was extremely shy + lacking confidence (he wouldn’t go past the front porch!). At that point my husband and I felt a little hopeless, so we reached out to Marcus after reading so many good reviews. Marcus came to our house, he immediately pointed out some issues and provided us with a ton of knowledge. His training sessions are well structured & we loved his gentle and positive approach. Progress started showing immediately after our first training session. We have been making time to train them everyday and today we have two totally different dogs! We are able to walk them confidently, have a more peaceful house and…they bonded! We’re super happy with our training experience and we couldn’t recommend Marcus more!

Marcus has been an incredible help for our shelter dog with reactivity. He has given us the tools and resources needed to help her integrate into our household.
Tremendous results, easy to follow and implement trainings practices. Marcus is very personable, has great knowledge in this field, and great instructor. He makes house calls, then when you’re ready you move into real world scenarios like walking in the park or going to Lowe’s with your K9. I highly recommend and the value is immeasurable.
