Our training experience with Marcus was perfect for our family. His guidance provided us consistent interactions with our dogs and proper enforcement. The puppers already did well with the basics, but it was still small potatoes compared to the level we hit with his direction. We learned the importance of doing the homework and to stay on top of the training. Every session was an opportunity to see how well we were doing and then take it to the next level. There is always room for improvement, and we never felt like we were under performing, or bad dog owners. Marcus was always open to share lessons he had learned that closely related to our own experiences and he never made us feel inferior, which was probably the most encouraging thing for us. Nobody is perfect. Each dog has different needs, and Marcus identified their individual personalities and methods to meet our goals. Marcuswas consistently patient and encouraging. We never felt like we failed, even when things didn't work out the way we expected the first time. Our dogs were good, but Marcus helped us learn to work WITH them to create a balanced environment and understand that "perfect" doesn't have to be the goal. We aimed for a happy, cohesive, healthy environment. I cannot express the level of gratitude we have for this experience. 1000% recommend. Working with dogs is one thing. Marcus is really great at working with dogs, but he's also really great working with humans. Again, I cannot express how thankful I am that a friend made the recommendation. This was the best thing we could have done for our family.

Marcus is a phenomenal trainer. I was apprehensive at first since my pups can be difficult but they did so well each step of the way. Just learning that so many other people deal with bad behavior in pets helped me with my situation. He was very professional and answered all my questions. My dogs have completely changed for the better. I can even take them to stores now with no issues. My life is less stressful now that my pups listen and behave. Thank you so much!

We had a such a great experience with Marcus and his wife at K9 Citizens Club! We have 2 rescues who, to put it lightly, aren’t the most sociable animals on the planet. They have varying degrees of barking issues and resource guarding, etc. Marcus was wonderful and so understanding while helping us navigate what we could do to help work through some of those issues. They’re still improving to this day using the techniques we were taught, and we even had a bunch of family come visit with their dogs and it went so smoothly!
