K.O. Dog Training

My husband and I reached out to Philip at KO Dog Training for help with our very reactive rescue dog. He was kind and thorough in his evaluation, and decided he would take us on as clients. What took place in the following 6 weeks was a true transformation in our household. Philip gave my dog and US the training we needed to be successful. For those who want to read a quick review, Phillip is fantastic! I would HIGHLY recommend going to K.O. Dog Training. More details for those who like specifics...Koa was a very well-behaved pup (just me training her via books/videos), then around the 7/8 month mark, she started developing what I called "stubborn" behaviors, completely challenging my role as alpha. So naughty. I had no idea what to do because my previous male dogs never did that.Well, I found Phillip and he "trained" me to be the alpha (exactly what I asked of him). He made me aware of dog psychology, showed me what to do, gave me the opportunity to practice while supervised, suggested changes, and oversaw my use of corrections and communication with my "naughty" little girl. He gave me instructions for what to work on with her at home and out in public in between sessions, and was open to communicating with me when I needed help or had questions during the week, so I could be consistent in training my pup. Koa is a changed girl and we are able to do SO many more things because of it. I tried to include pictures showing her as the fabulous pup she is! Learning to stay out of the kitchen in her "place", between my feet at ACE while everyone around us shops, hanging under the table at a restaurant while we have lunch, immediate recall even when she was playing in the little waterfall, down and stays (me not in her line of sight and me pretty far away in a public park), leaving the ducks alone while I fed them, and waiting patiently by my side while I was on the phone on a busy sidewalk downtown. Five Star Rating! I sincerely appreciate Philip’s guidance and knowledge of dog obedience. Philip’s ability to evaluate owner/companion relationship was spot on. His honesty and sincere commitment to Louie and I has truly made a difference!! Louie is a beautiful English Cream Retriever (102 lbs) with lots of will and strength. Philip taught me how to correct Louie’s behavior (on leash) and develop a bonding relationship between Louie and I. Thank u Philip, sincerely!!!
