K.O. Dog Training

A 6 year old miniature Schnauzer named Ela came into our life and she was in desperate need of effective training. We found Phillip and K.O. Dog Training online and upon seeing that he offered a free consultation we decided to meet. We are big supporters of our Veterans and seeing that Phillip had served our country for many years was a big factor in our decision. Our first impression of Phillip was that of an all around good person who had a thorough knowledge of canine behaviors and he was a caring person. We signed up for one afternoon training session per week for six weeks. After the very first session it was evident to us that we had chosen the right person. Ela, like most Schnauzers, is a bit stubborn and stuck in the ways of her bad habits. We noticed slight improvements after the first session but after the 2nd session we were beginning to see a new dog in Ela. Phillip stressed the importance of our continuing Ela's training at home and he would give us some idea of what training to do at home until the next session. In our last training session, it was time for Ela to be tested on what she had learned in the past weeks. Proud to say that she passed with flying colors and we were all excited, including Phillip. If you have a dog that hasn't received any training or has received training that seems to have been ineffective, we urge you to give Phillip a call and to meet him. Oh yeah, by the way, after successfully completing K.O.'s training, Phillip offers his immediate assistance should any training issues surface and that is for as long as you own that dog for his or her life. Can't beat that!!! We are enjoying our time with Ela more than ever and her bad behaviors are ,so far, a thing of the past.

Philip and Kiki were wonderful instructors for Chugger and me. Philip provided insight into my dog's behavior and helped me understand how to best communicate with my puppy. Philip's instruction was on point and gave me confidence in handling Chugger and continuing training on my own. And Kiki let Chugger know what was acceptable and what was not during play time. The training was truly an enrichment experience for the both of us. Well done, Philip and Kiki!

I adopted a shelter dog and I needed help with basic training and impulse control as Geeta is very strong. Philip did an awesome job training both Geeta and I to where we could enjoy walks without out-of-control behavior. Philip explains everything carefully and demonstrates each step. He listens and provides a solution to try such as proper equipment. He always has yummy treats for the dogs. You can truly tell he loves what he does.
