Jezzie Paws Dog Training

As first time dog owners, we had no idea where to start with training our rescue puppy. We have been bringing our dog Ruby to weekly sessions with Jess since she was 4 months old. Now at 8 months, she is such a well behaved dog! We have done both group and one on one classes with her, and she truly caters her training methods to meet the specific needs of different dogs and owners. She’s given us the tools and confidence we needed that made training both fun and effective. Ruby (and we) love Jess, and really look forward to working with her every week! If you’re in need of a dog trainer, for literally any reason (puppies, leash walking, reactive dogs, etc.) we cannot recommend Jess enough!

We recently came to Jess with our 2, eleven month old dachshund puppies for training. Due to a 3 month long Covid quarantine, they were lacking socialization and were afraid of everything. They are also dachshunds, and we know first hand they can be difficult to train. Just 2 sessions in and we are thrilled with the results. Jess has a humane, loving approach to her training style. Everything is positive reinforcement based, not punitive. Our dogs love the training time so much. When new behaviors surface, most recently excessive barking at strangers, Jess has great ideas for us to try. Jess has also given us the confidence in ourselves as "trainers". Our family recently got a new puppy and in the beginning I thought she would be too hard to handle but with Jess’ training and puppy classes she’s becoming more and more amazing every day. I cannot say enough good things about Jess! I have seen so much improvement in my baby girl after following her suggestions. I really can't recommend her enough. I love how much she loves dogs and how well she connects with them.. it is truly inspiring! Jess is just so patient, kind and just a brilliant dog trainer.
