Kat is an incredible trainer who loves what she does and it shows! I’ve had dogs for years and have also worked with animals for a long time but my youngest pup is a challenge for me because he is very reactive. After trying 3 other trainers who really were not able to handle my dog’s reactivity or help him improve, we started working with Kat and the results have been very rewarding. We saw improvement in my dog’s mental state and behavior after just one session and now several sessions in, we are continuing to see him improve more each time. I especially love Kat’s force-free approach. My dog loves her and is eager to work with her. Kat is truly amazing at what she does and I am so grateful to have found the best trainer to help my dog and I improve.

I can’t put into words how amazingly helpful and knowledgeable Kat has been as we work together to address my 18 month old Goldendoodle’s (Danny) sometimes challenging behavior. My husband and I noticed a difference immediately following our first session. It is awe-inspiring to watch Kat’s interactions with Danny and how well he follows her directives and totally focuses on her (he is typically very inattentive). Kat has really helped me understand the root of Danny’s anxieties and has provided numerous ways to help Danny overcome his behaviors of concern. She possesses a wealth of knowledge , and if a given strategy doesn’t quite work or has limited success, Kat always comes up with an alternative. She is so attuned to what Danny needs and is able to explain and teach me in an understandable fashion how to meet those needs. Kat has a wonderful energy about her and it is so obvious how much she truly loves animals. Not only is my puppy enamored by her, but my cat always vies for her attention when she is here. I couldn’t be happier with the work we are doing and highly recommend her.

My wife and I can't be more pleased with the help Kat has provided. We did about 7 or so sessions over the fall with our 5-year-old, female flat-coated black lab, mix. Our dog was happy and friendly prior to pandemic, but over the two years she became more aggressive to other dogs when we went on walks. Kat worked us on techniques for rewarding our pup when she came in contact with new dogs and trained me as well on how to read her silent messages. I was completely misinterpreting her responses and once Kat explained to me the emotional and chemical effects of stress with our dog I was able to react more productively instead of being frustrated. Now when I take her for walks she is less aggressive and I carry high-value treats to distract and reward the good behavior. We are have our happy pup back! I am SOO happy we found Kat. I highly recommend her and already have to friends in the area.

Kat has been an incredible help with our dog, Rocket. With her help, Rocket has been able to relax in the home and outside, and not be so alert and fearful of new people. We now have an amazing team that is working with us to give Rocket a better life and the best experiences possible. Kat is professional and personable, and has easily become part of ours and Rocket's lives. She is patient, understanding, and takes the time to explain why she trains the way she does. She loves what she does and it shows in all aspects of her relationships with her clients, human and dogs. If you put in equal effort to train your dog outside of your sessions with Kat, you will be amazed and so happy with the results. We are so lucky to have Kat on our team and I know Rocket has a happier, longer life because of her.

Kat is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to puppy training and curbing certain behaviors. She's taught our puppy, Gracie (and us!), how to introduce family and friends to our excited pooch without her jumping all over them, along with how to safely remove objects from Gracie's mouth without aggression, among so many other things. Perhaps even more impressive than her training knowledge is her personality. She has a very calming presence which relaxes our very excitable pup. She is so sweet to not just our pup, but to everyone in our family. She's been incredibly accommodating, willing to work with us around our ever-changing work/work-from-home schedules.
