We did a lot of research to find the right trainer for Nellie. We are so happy we found Kathryn. Her calm positive reinforcement techniques were easy to follow and perfect for our Nellie, but also important was the the explanations from Kathryn on "Why" a dog reacts or acts in a certain way. We would recommend Kathryn to anyone who needs to have their dog trained properly. Hands down the best dog training experience we have had!

Kat is an incredibly skilled dog trainer. Not only does she meet you and your pet where you are and take the time to learn about your situation she is a wealth of knowledge and tips. We’ve been working with her with our rescue dog who developed reactivity and have seen incredible improvement over the few months. We’re able to see our pup being a carefree less anxious dog again! We’ve learned how to interpret our dog’s and other dogs body languages, training techniques, and fun new tricks too! Kat is professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to learn from. We would give 10 stars if we could!

Words can’t even describe how great Kathryn is! Within one session I saw a major difference with my pup! I have had problems with my dogs constant whining, jumping, and leash reactivity. She has given me the tools to understand why my dog is displaying these unwanted behaviors and how to correct them in the healthiest and most positive way. You can tell immediately this is not a job to her, rather her passion. She cares so much about making sure we get the most out of our training to make for a happier dog and happier owner. She truly pours her heart and soul into every session. Kathryn has changed my life as well as my Moosie’s. He now understands what I want from him and I can tell just from his body language (thanks to Kathryn) what he is communicating to me! Kathryn will always be my first call for all training needs. Kathryn is quite literally changing our life. We rescued an extremely anxious, fearful and stressed out german shepard mix puppy. We had been really starting to struggle with her fear and reactivity and thats when I reached out to Kathryn. She quickly responded with a sweet phone call that made me feel super comfortable. Fast forward 3 months later and we have a much improved dog and a much improved owner (at least i think so!). Kathryn not only teaches the dog but she teaches the owner too which I have found to be profoundly helpful in this journey. We still have a long way to go but Remi is making progress every day and she is becoming a happier dog who is learning to love life (especially long lead recall :)). She's becoming more confident, more affectionate and trusting every day. Kathryn is so supportive and I would recommend her to anyone who needs dog training and especially if you are an owner feeling lost and way in over your head, she will help you, guaranteed!
