Carly is the best of the best. Anybody who says otherwise is too quick to judge and not listen/has no patience to see how their relationship with their dog grows. She is NOT abusive and cares more about dogs than anybody I have ever met. She takes dogs minutes away from being killed after their humans have failed them just to give them another chance at life. Anybody who is upset she isn’t “positive reinforcement” should look up what the definition is, because most people have it wrong, showing another reason her training is important and people are quick to judge. Sadly when people don’t give her wonderful training a chance it’s the dogs who suffer
Can't say I recommend this company, I certainly would not recommend for puppies. The methods are detrimental to your bond with your dog. Force free training is scientifically shown to be more effective. Also don't care for the cold vibes when dropping off or picking up at the day care. My dog will not be going back and he and I will be grateful for that.
I took my 2 year old rescue lab to Carly after she was recommended to us by a neighbor. My dog has improved by leaps and bounds with Carly’s help. When he was first adopted he had a lot of behaviors and issues that needed to be worked with. After taking foundations and intermediate training at High Drive he is a completely different dog!

Our vet recommended Carly at High Drive for our rescue yorkie who had extreme low-confidence and fearful behaviors. We had done a PetCo training class before with our other "normal" dog but knew we needed more intense support for our rescue. We decided that we were going to fully commit to her techniques and train ourselves so that our dog could be more confident and comfortable.... and because of that we started noticing a change in him after the very first class. Carly is funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about what she does, which can come off as too intense for some people, but it's what makes her classes so worth it as long as you are willing to put in the work. We genuinely got the sense that she cared about our dog and that he made progress. Now that we have completed the foundation course we have a rescue dog, who lived 8 years of his life in a cage, following commands and going on walks and sitting on the couch without trying to bite people! We couldn't be more grateful!
