The negative reviews are unfair. Carly keeps it real about us dog owners terribly coddling and fostering needy and insecure behaviors in our dogs. Her methods are not negative. It's communication. Reward for desired response, a squirt with water (last time I checked, it doesn't hurt) for undesirable response. Our dogs need to know how to act in this world or there could be serious consequences. If you put in the work, your dog can become balanced, confident and highly trained (like mine are, after taking her course). There are no bad dogs, just bad owners who need to understand that your dog (as much as we love them) is not a human child and that giving them gentle correction IS LOVE! You don't want them running around like uncontrollable maniacs.

I was hesitant to take my 8 pound (who would grow up to be 12.5 pounds) puppy to obedience class. She was so cute she could have gotten away with anything! So that's why I took her. Turns out she had low confidence. Carly gave me the tools to teach my dog to think for herself and problem solve. Carly shared the tools that work to make me and my dog happy campers. She is dedicated to the fullest and I know that behind her is a competent and caring staff just as she is. Thank you so much for helping me discover that no matter what dog I end up with in this life, all will turn out well because of Carly's obedience class. It feels wonderful to have the tools to help my dog be the best she can be. Happy dog, happy me.
