James provided a safe and comfortable environment for my baby girls. I love that they were kept company, well-fed, and taken on walks. I loved receiving multiple daily pics, too!
James is a great dog trainer who I trust to be very loving and kind with my dog. He is really responsive and communicative and meets the dog where they’re at. He doesn’t try to change your routine and impose something that might be unrealistic. Just a great guy who really does love dogs!

James provides exceptional dog training. We have two miniature sheepadoodles that are very hyper and overwhelming when people come over to our house. After just one hour with James, we learned just how eager our dogs were to learn and have completely changed the way they behave when someone comes over. One of our dogs was a severe leash puller, but James has also corrected that behavior. James’ compassionate and communication driven approach to training has completely changed the way we think about training and our relationship with our dogs. His approach is all about patience, care, and accountability – an approach that really resonated with us and has been extremely effective. On top of the incredible training he provides, he also boards our dogs. He sends us plenty of updates and pictures so we always know how our dogs are doing. Both our dogs have different personalities and he even takes the time to do what each of them like (park and running for one, lazy evenings in for the other!) We’re very grateful to have found James and couldn’t recommend him enough!
