James and Madelyn were both so great with my pup, Jimmy! Jimmy's a sweet rescue but doesn't have great manners. Within just a few minutes of being around him, Jimmy was super responsive and picked up on James' cues easily. Not only did Jimmy respond well, but James made my "homework" digestible and easy, not overwhelming like other programs I've tried. He and Madelyn answered all the questions I had and made sure I was happy before leaving. He checks in from time to time to see how Mr. Jimmy is doing and really cares about his clients!

Highly recommend! I had my 12 month old boxer, Fiona, board and train for a week with James. James is professional, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He provides excellent communication. I received multiple pictures and videos daily. He treated Fiona with respect and love. I was put at ease knowing my Fiona was in good hands. We noticed huge improvement. He provided comprehensive training videos of Fiona and a private lesson. We were given a good skill set to continue practicing everything Fiona learned with him. He goes the extra mile. He brought Fiona back home and even gave her a shower before her return. Without a doubt, I will hire James again to board and/or train Fiona in the future. Thank you James!

I took home my first puppy back in March and James was recommended to me. He has worked with my puppy, Pippin, a couple of times now through his reverse board and train sessions. Pippin loves James! He has learned so much from him and I've also learned a lot as an owner. James is super friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. He will teach you the proper techniques on how to handle your dog's behavior. With the techniques and suggestions from James, I have seen a major difference with Pippin and his confidence is just getting better everyday!

Let me start off by saying that our golden retriever puppy is the light of our lives. I am "that" dog momma who won't even drop my puppy at a groomer that will crate him. Needless to say, when we had to go out of town for about a week- I was stressed out trying to find someone to watch our puppy that met my overly worried standards. There is not a single part of this ENTIRE process- from calling to gather more information- to being reunited with our boy after our trip that I would change or critique- and that's saying A LOT... trust me! James was incredibly responsive and accommodating from the moment I called to gather more information about his services. I knew from that phone call that I would feel comfortable leaving my prince of a pup with him. We opted for the board and train program and to say we were impressed is an understatement. We were able to discuss and plan our goals for our dog prior to him boarding. James accommodated every aspect of our puppies stay- even beyond the training goals- everything from his food, crate set up, and so on. (which many traditional "boarding" centers will not do). We were provided with DAILY training videos (which is amazing to have as a reference to carry over the skills) and updates on how our puppy was adjusting. He even provides a follow up lesson at the time of pick up to help facilitate carry over of skills. I really could go on and on but I'll sum it up with this. If you are at all worried about leaving your fur baby while you are away (or even are just looking for someone to consult with on training) I promise that James is the answer to your worries. You AND most importantly your fur baby will be immediate family to James. He truly cares for you and your pet and upon initial interaction you too will see that. You cannot "fake" the love and genuine passion he has for what he does. I am confident that our puppy not only had the absolute time of his life while we were away- but James built an incredible foundation that we will continue to build upon now that we are back home. James will be part of our puppy family for life and there is nowhere else our dog will be staying as long as we live in the Houston area. I will recommend him to any and every dog parent I meet.
