I can't say enough great things about our experience with Good Dogs KC! Before we started training, my dog Mickey—a sweet but stubborn pup—was a bit of a handful. He would pull hard on the leash during walks, bark at just about everyone and everything, and completely ignore commands unless there was a treat involved. I was starting to feel overwhelmed and unsure if things could ever improve. Enter Good Dogs KC. From day one, they were professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to understand Mickey’s personality and tailored the training to fit his needs. Their positive, consistent approach worked wonders. It wasn’t just about teaching Mickey—it was about teaching me how to better communicate with him. Fast forward a few weeks, and the change is incredible. Mickey now walks calmly beside me, listens to commands (even without treats!), and is much more relaxed and well-behaved overall. He’s still the same lovable goofball—but now he’s also a good dog! If you’re looking for real results and a team that truly cares, I can’t recommend Good Dogs KC enough. Andrew and Jahaira don’t just train dogs—they connect with them. They were incredibly patient with both Honey and me, taking the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. What really stood out was how in tune they were with Honey’s natural instincts. They didn’t try to force anything—instead, they worked with her personality in a way that felt gentle, respectful, and effective. Honey is now so much more calm, confident, and responsive, and I feel like I understand her better than ever. If you’re looking for dog trainers who are skilled, compassionate, and truly get dogs, I can’t recommend Good Dogz KC enough!
Amazing experience helping my foster dog to be less reactive. I can’t believe how much I learned in one session ! It helped me work with my pup to get her to a place where she was able to handle stressful situations. The training session was compassionate and informative. I highly recommend working with them. It will change your relationship with your dog for the better.
