Good Dog, DYNO

We had a fantastic experience working with Good Dog DYNO for our puppy's first training experience. We really enjoyed the teaching style and knowledge of our instructor, Lydia, who was patient, kind, funny, and made the training very engaging and approachable. We appreciate the many offerings and types of dog support that this company provides and definitely plan on using their programs again in the future! :)

As a first-time dog owner with a large dog who is very much in his teenage phase, I came to Good Dog, DYNO feeling overwhelmed. Walks were a struggle, he was highly reactive around other dogs, and managing him at home was harder than I expected. In our initial phone consultation, Jonna helped us find the right path, and it was personalized to our specific needs. We started with Reactive Rover to learn how to manage triggers — Felicia’s knowledge and genuine enthusiasm when it all came together really built my confidence. We then added Paws & Poise with Lydia to learn intermediate obedience and practice his skills around other dogs. Lydia is a wonderfully compassionate trainer who specializes in dog behavior. She also came to our home for some one-on-one training and gave our family strategies that transformed how we understand our dog — our bond with him is now deeper, and that is something we are truly grateful for. From there we joined Barks & Rec, but only after a careful evaluation to make sure he was placed in the group that would be best for him. His Barks & Rec trainer Jake has been exceptional — patiently helping our dog adjust, build confidence, and have fun with the other dogs — and he sends thoughtful feedback after each class, including photos and a training video (which I always look forward to). The trainers and staff bring real compassion to everything they do, the community is wonderfully supportive, and the small class sizes, easy scheduling, clear communication, and positive-reinforcement-only approach make it all feel manageable and joyful rather than stressful. Our dog gets so excited every time we arrive — watching his confidence grow has been a very rewarding part of this journey. I can’t recommend Good Dog, DYNO highly enough — the support and care here are truly exceptional.

So far we have really enjoyed our experience with Good Dog, DYNO. We have a six month old labradoodle and wanted to do some professional classes for our second dog. We started bringing him to the Wiggle Waggers nights and decided to sign up for the Release the Beast. Not only has our pup made huge strides but it has been great training for my husband and I as well. Kat Salcedo was our instructor and her background in dog training really amplified how much trust my husband and I had in the program as well. She was a great instructor and I would take more classes with her in the future.

We can’t recommend Good Dog Dyno enough for dog training and socialization! We have no had two of our dogs go through various programs at GDD. When we lost our senior dog, we brought our lab in for Barks and Rec to get some socialization and training reinforcement, and it’s now his favorite day of the week! He gets to play with such a wide variety of dogs, and gets personal walks and 1:1 time with our amazing trainer Lydia and the other trainer Luke. Once we adopted a new puppy, we immediately took her to their puppy class called “Release the Beast” which was pivotal for getting her used to other dogs, learning basic training commands, and the trainer Felicia was amazing! She’s now graduated to her own Barks and Rec day with Rachael and Luke. One thing we love in particular about Barks and Rec is we get a report card outlining their day, and a personal training video with our own dog EVERY SINGLE WEEK that we can use to work on training at home, and see the work they’re doing in class weekly. It’s amazing! Whether it be a new puppy, or your dog who could use some extra training and socialization, GDD’s team of trainers and wide variety of programming makes it a no-brainer and is beyond worth the investment. Our dogs are so happy and so are we!

We couldn’t recommend Good Dog Dyno more! We started their Barks and Rec program for our 4 yr old lab mix as a way to get maintained socialization in a safe environment dedicated to training after the passing of his sibling pup. The staff is phenomenal, and we couldn’t love the trainers more. He whines with excitement when we pull in and the training updates are PHENOMENAL. When we adopted again, we did their puppy obedience class and gained/learned SO much with our new pup. She is now doing Barks and Rec once a week too and gaining so much confidence as a pretty timid dog. There are no better trainers in Denver. It’s a one stop shop for all needs - from in home training sessions (thanks Felecia!) to weekly training/socializations (we love you Lydia, Luke, and Rachel), we couldn’t be more grateful for Good Dog Dyno!
