FirstBarkPuppy classes have been a great and safe place for the dogs to learn to play with other dogs. Nicely organized into two sessions with a potty break and they learn one trick each time l. It's a very short time to work it but we'll balanced.

We recently completed the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class with Felicia Kent at Good Dog DYNO, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We brought in our 4-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy, Teddy Bear, and by the end of the course he had learned somewhere between 15–20 commands and foundational skills. What really stood out was how organized and well-structured the class was. Felicia provided clear instruction during class and followed up afterward with detailed notes that made practicing at home easy and effective. The class size was small — only five dogs — which allowed for individualized attention and a calmer learning environment. The format was excellent: focused training for most of the class with a short socialization session at the end. Even though we are experienced dog owners and already had a solid understanding of training basics, this course absolutely helped us become better trainers for Teddy. Felicia was knowledgeable, prepared, patient, and very clear in her direction. We would highly recommend this class to anyone with a new puppy who wants a strong foundation and a positive training experience.
I can't recommend them enough! They offer free puppy socialization, great training courses! Their trainers are all great with our dog and have really helped us grow together :)

First time having a puppy and needed to learn how to train the right way. Positive reinforcement was what I looked for, as this has the scientific evidence for how dogs learn best. From his first puppy socialization class to his continued weekly “classroom” sessions in Barks and Rec, I have been very happy with the expertise and patience the trainers have for my “independent-minded” Samoyed, Denali. Lydia helped us create a foundation of basics that I continue to rely on for a well-mannered dog. Jake continues to guide Denali in how to learn something new and to play nicely with his friends (he can get very boisterous!), and has really worked hard to get Denali to decrease his FOMO. I am very happy to have found Good Dog DUNO and am looking forward to all the things Denali will continue to learn.
