GET K9 Training

We are so grateful for Jenzi and the work and love she puts into the dogs that go to her for training. Our buddy was a rowdy boy without an off switch and we had been taking him for 2 half hour plays every day because we thought it was the only way to get him to calm down. Now he has developed an off switch and a working-mode which makes our everyday 20 min walks very enjoyable, there’s no pulling, barking, or marking. I love that whenever we have a question or concern or we need some advice Jenzi is always there to help. So happy to have found her!

Jenzi is AMAZING! I have a 8 month old Rough Collie, Lily; who’s a service dog in training. She’s so smart, but that comes with obstacles. As a working breed I could never find a way to help her settle. She would become frustrated with training extremely quick, and she would pace for hours if I’d let her. She also could not walk on a loose leash let alone a heel. Little kids and other dogs are her WEAKNESS. With that said- Lily was driven 2200+ miles from Florida to Arizona for her B&T and it could not have been more worth it!! Jenzi has given Lily the expectations she needed to succeed. She is now able to lay on place for hours and actually relax herself and find her own off switch! For a service dog this is ESSENTIAL. She has an amazing loose leash walk, and she provides more auto check ins then ever. She is so much more in tune with me, and is already much more present with task training. I can tell we are already building a better bond, just after a few weeks with Jenzi. This next week we are starting Public Access for the first time as a team! (Jenzi worked her with public access as well which was BEYOND my expectations) Ever since I got her back, Jenzi has kept in touch, and we immediately scheduled the go home call. Unlike ALOT of trainers, Jenzi takes her time to teach you everything that is needed to keep your pup successful. Highly recommend!!

I was at my wits end with my 1 yr old Portuguese Water Dog... Counter surfing, jumping all over guests, destructive, barking at everyone and everything and a nightmare walker. We basically let him rule the house and I became the yelling mom... then I found Jenzi thank the Lord. Oakley went through her 3 week Board and Train and it was the best thing we ever did. We could have never gotten him to this point. Before training this dog would go from 0 to 90 in 2 seconds... after training we have a dog who may still get excited but he and we are now equipped to help him balance. He is basically training us right now. Jenzi is wonderful and really takes the time to explain how we need to communicate with our dog. It has been 4 days that Oakley has been back home and I am truly amazed and very thankful for all Jenzi was able to do. I just had the best walk ever with Oakley and I am so very happy. If you were ever questioning if you should invest in training, do it. You will have no regrets. Thank you Jenzi, you have done a fantastic job and I am very happy to say I am no longer the yelling mom.

Jenzi was amazing at training and helping us with our husky and golden retriever. Our husky was showing signs of leash aggression and becoming a terror on walks. He would bark and lunge towards other dogs on leash. I can now confidently take him out on walks and know that he will have little to no reaction out of him. Our golden has mastered Come, Place, Down - though she'll get testy with us at times, she knows exactly what to do! I can honestly say, sending my pups to Great Expectations K9 Training was worth every penny!

I was told by almost everyone I knew that a Husky rescue would be a handful from the start, and while I do love mine deeply, I definitely underestimated just how hard it would be to control him on walks and in the household. Through the course of several private lessons, we did multiple different types of training, ranging from on the leash walk training to come-place-down work in the home. I can say without a doubt the lessons that were given were some of the most informative and well constructed training sessions I could've imagined. Not only did Jenzi understand how my dog was working physically, but seemed to be so in tune with him physiologically that she was able to tell whatever he was thinking in the moment. Throughout the process and lessons, she was incredibly communicative and kind throughout it all, making me feel empowered enough to take the lessons she gave and implement them into my daily life with my dog I wholeheartedly recommend Jenzi for not only her one on one lessons, but whatever other types of training she might recommend for your dog. You won't be disappointed.
