Genetic Canine

Amanda and her team were fantastic with our puppy, Beau. When we first brought Beau to Genetic Canine he was struggling to adjust to our home and everyday life. Beau is doing significantly better with her help. He can sit, down, stay, walk nicely, knows his name and so many more cool tricks that make it easier for our everyday life. Our life style is very family oriented and we constantly have company. Beau has been very affectionate and trustworthy around other adults, children, and animals thanks to Amanda’s help. Amanda is very genuine and warm which always made me feel well support throughout the puppy training process. There is nobody I trust more with my pup! We are very excited to continue training with Amanda and her team!

My husband and I could not be more thrilled with the progress our 3 year old French bulldog has made with Amanda and her team at genetic K9. We had previously did training at another facility and we did not get the results we were after. We now have the frenchie companion we always hoped for. Amanda really takes the time to understand the needs of the dog and adjusts training techniques to the dog. She focuses on training in the facility as well as outside the facility to put you and your dog into real world situations. We can’t wait to start training with our new puppy!

I used to be worried about walking him due to his behavior on leash, but Amanda, Lindsey, Carrie, and the rest of the team worked diligently on his challenges during the 4-week board and train program. Not only did they focus on Bruce’s shortcomings, but they also provided ongoing lessons and training, meeting with us throughout the process to ensure his progress. Having Bruce back with clear boundaries and a newfound respect has lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

My experience with Genetic Canine has been amazing! A friend of ours recommended Genetic canine and we couldn’t have been happier with the breakthrough we’ve had with her!! Her reactivity was causing extreme anxiety to the point where I felt like I had no control. We did a 2 week board and train at 8 months with genetic, Amanda was sending me videos of my puppy with different trainers, walking with dogs and even sitting next to them with zero reactivity! Her commands were strengthened immensely and now she is E collar trained. I learned so much too I now have full control over her and the situation, I feel comfortable being out with her because first she’s so much better and second I know I can navigate a stressful situation! Nothing to say but fantastic things about Amanda & the Genetic Canine team. I brought my village dog mix here last year to work through anxiety and confidence issues, and was so happy to work with a trainer that really emphasized human-handler relationships in addition to the traditional aspects of training. Was so happy with his results that I have been bringing my new dog here for obedience training as well. The facility is always absolutely spotless and they have a great shop up front with chews, raw food, and toys. Thank you!
