Genetic Canine

We are so grateful to have found Genetic Canine. We did the puppy program with our German Shepherd, Duke. Amanda has been truly amazing to work with, and Kerri was also awesome the few times we had the pleasure of working with her. Amanda was very helpful in answering all of our questions, even outside of our scheduled training time with her. When we first began training with Amanda we had not a clue what we were doing, but Amanda not only gives you the tools and know-how on creating an obedient puppy, but she also gives you the confidence that you’re doing everything correctly…Genetic Canine’s puppy program is more than just dog training, Amanda and her team help you make your bond between you and your pup stronger than ever! It’s almost easier to look at it as parenting lessons instead of dog training. Training was Duke’s favorite part of the week and he has been thriving, we can’t thank Amanda and her team enough and we will definitely be returning for their adult program when he gets a little older. We cannot recommend Genetic Canine enough! We were really unhappy and at a loss when it came to our 9 month old puppy until we started to train with Amanda. She provided us with the tools, resources and the confidence that we needed in order to get Luke on track. Within 2 sessions, we noticed a huge difference with his behaviors and some of the other things that we were struggling with. Omg we can’t say enough good things about Amanda and her staff. Our GSD King spent two weeks there and came back actually different (in a good way ) dog. He is so well behaved and trained. We never thought this was possible. He was always such a sweet puppy now he is ever sweeter. She and her staff were so caring and kept in touch with us the whole time he was there for the board and train. And the plus is all the extra training they do when you bring him home. I just want to express our immense gratitude to Amanda at Genetic Canine for training us, and our new puppy. From the very first lesson we knew Amanda possessed a deep understanding of dog behavior. Her methods have greatly boosted our confidence with our dog. She tailored all her expertise to his personality and our bond with our pup has grown significantly. As shown in the video, we’ve been practicing off-leash walking and recall. Thanks to Amanda’s regimen, along with her vast knowledge on e-collars (if you’re comfortable with) our pup is thriving! Training a dog isn’t easy. Our puppy was a specialist when it came to causing shenanigans. So yes, it can be difficult, tiresome and repetitive, but I promise..if you follow Amanda’s course, stay dedicated to her practice, while doing the homework she advises, your life with your dog will reach a new level of harmony. Both Amanda’s puppy program, and her more advanced training classes (which we’re currently in) have exceeded our expectations. I couldn’t recommend Amanda more. I have used Amanda for years to educate, support and train our Cane Corso dog (and us) from puppyhood to adult life (now 7 years old). Much to my initial surprise, everything Amanda taught, encouraged and promised us to be facts and true was indeed completely accurate.
