My husband and I purchased a trained German Shepherd from Evan in January 2018 and have been extremely pleased with our dog and with the service Evan has provided. The first few months after receiving our dog, Evan called daily to check on all of us and answer our questions. Evan still checks on us (if he hasn’t heard from us) to see how we are doing. Evan has done an excellent job of training us to handle our dog and we are very grateful for his service and his friendship. I highly recommend Evan to find the perfect dog to meet your needs or to train the dog you currently own.

Evan was a lifesaver, literally! My dog was super aggressive and unmanageable outside of our home. So much so we were looking at the option to taking him back to the shelter. However, with weeks of behavior modification for both Ace and us, we were able to better manage him and he learned to respect us, ignore other dogs and not lash out when frightened. He is truly such a loving dog, and I am so grateful to still have him! Evan trained Ace with other dogs to help him learn to ignore the dog, and eventually we were able to walk the perimeter of a dog park without Ace thinking twice about the other dogs running around. Evan met us at home to work on adjustments to make here to better manage Ace, and made recommendations for a more consistent home life. Ace was once the dog who used to walk us, but now is able to walk in a heel and walk side by side with us, while fighting the temptation to go after other dogs. I highly recommend Evan for any behavior issues, we tried multiple trainers before we found finally found success with Evan!

My dog and I completed the basic obedience program. I came to Evan after doing several hours of research and trainer interviewing. I brought my 17-month old female German Shepard dog (at the time) to Full Contact K9 for help. I am owner training my dog for service work to help negate my disability. Over the three months we worked with Evan, I saw the changes in my dog. She went from being not confident and dog reactive to confident and not dog reactive. We can enjoy walks and she can enjoy her work. I now see the fun energetic personality I haven’t really seen before. My bond is stronger than ever. Evan was non-judgmental and super accommodating to meet my needs. He saw the weaknesses in my dog and turned them into strengths. Evan served as a guide and teacher instead of what I experienced in the past as critical. Evan provides the tools to help the dog be the best they can be as well as the owner. He helped me see the potential in my dog and improve our communication. During the program, my dog passed the AKC CGC test and is on her way to advance CGC testing. She is just a few months shy of being a full-time professional service dog. Evan saved my dog’s career, and I am eternally grateful for this. I was considering washing her as my past trainers stated that we weren’t a good fit for each other. Evan stated the opposite. I highly recommend Evan and Full Contact k9 because he is honest, hardworking, and will help you and your dog meet the desired goals. If anyone out there is owner training their service dog, basic obedience is a must. Evan offers a wonderful basic obedience program that will meet the desired requirements. I extend the review to anyone wanting to help train their dog for whatever reason. Evan will provide the guidance I wish more trainers would do. He is a true diamond in the rough.
