Evan is the best! I took my newly adopted German Shepard to him after some issues with barking at other dogs. The issue was fixed within 1-2 sessions and worked on basic obedience as well. I feel so much more confident taking my dog on walks and socializing him after completing the training. Evan is also able to give great recommendations for food brands, dog sitters etc.. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with their pup!

My family has owned “companion” dogs my entire life, so when we lost our oldest and most beloved, we decided it was time to get more serious about our next pet. My parents are playing with the idea of moving out of the area while I take care of things at home, and wanted to ensure that I wouldn’t be left alone. We contacted Evan, who was extremely accommodating of all of our questions along the way. After making absolutely sure that he understood what we were looking for and that we understood the commitment required on our side, he set us up with a male Czech German Shepherd puppy to be trained as a personal protection dog. “Ruckus,” — named for his personality and natural drive— is the most responsive dog we’ve ever had. While we unfortunately cannot train directly with Evan due to being out of state, he has helped us with contacts and advice the entire way through. Ruckus has quickly become a favorite at our training facility, was cleared to start protection training at around 6 months old, and was promoted to the most advanced level of obedience training by 11 months old. Evan frequently checks in with support and advice, and shows great enthusiasm (and patience) on the days that I flood his messages with photos and videos of Ruckus and I living our best life together. Ruckus is a fearless, hardworking dog and I cannot wait to see how he progresses. From my experience thus far, I know Evan will be there to guide and support our journey along the way.

I’ve had German shepherds most of my adult life and have worked with numerous trainers and sporting clubs. I can say, without a doubt, that Evan’s training of high level working dogs is second to none. I also purchased our most recent puppy from Full Contact K9 and now a year old, Darwin is the the perfect blend of good temperament, loyalty, intelligence and protection that would expect from a German Shepherd. From this point forward I will only get my dogs and my training from Evan and Full Contact K9.

We had some issues with leash walking , leash grabbing and leaving the backyard. Evan came to our house and trained both myself and Mya , my 4 year old shepherd, over a period of time. Evan showed me how to be strong with Mya and use the correct reinforcements so that she knew I was in charge. Mya is now a pleasure to walk and people always comment on how well behaved she is !
