Full Contact K9

We went to see Evan because we were very frustrated with our GSD Pixel. She was reactive to dogs, 21 and 0 in dog fights and was very loud and anxious out in public. Evan evaluated her and said some basic obedience was necessary. We proceeded to meet with Evan weekly to work with our pup. By the end he was using our dog to show future clients what basic obedience is. Our dog is now able to go hiking, to festivals, out and about with no issues. I can’t tel you how much joy Evan has given us along with increasing the quality of life for my dog as well. If you’re having issues go see Evan. We got our German Shepard, Max, when he was 3 months old. After a year of “training” by a well-advertised North Fulton County facility, Max was getting worse – not better. Soon after learning we were expecting our second child, I intensified the training to no avail. I was ready to find Max a new home. Expressing this frustration, a friend recommended Full Contact K-9 to me. I gave Evan a very short wish list and I thought Max had no hope. Was I ever wrong! After two weeks and 3 days, we had a completely different dog and that wish list was quadrupled – Max had become way more than I expected. We continued in home training and then weekly training. We now have Max at what I believe is his full potential for us. He is exactly the dog I needed and wanted for our family: loving, confident, well-mannered and protective – all while retaining his personality which we fell in love with at 3 months old. He loves our children, our family – we are his job. And if he exhibits some teenage tendencies, he goes back to “Camp Dunbar” for an afternoon. Max is now 5; things do come up from time to time and Evan is a phone call or text away. He has always answered me immediately in any circumstance from something he has eaten to a new quirk. Evan is in it for the long haul; he genuinely loves and understands *his* dogs; sees their strengths and weaknesses and turns them into the best dog for you, your family, and your expectations. Evan has become a most welcome part of the family. Who knows where Max would have ended up had it not been for Evan! We are so thankful to Evan and Full Contact K9!

Evan is an AMAZING trainer! He actually taught us how to effectively communicate with our dog on a daily basis, not just dog tricks and poses. Our dog (an abused rescue) has undergone such a transformation: self confidence, socialization, and behavior. We get many complements on how much our dog has changed since we first adopted her. Evan made such a difference for us! Plus, he's very friendly, patient, and flexible and always responds to my texts! Definitely recommend!!!!
