How much work do I have to do?
That depends on you and your dog. However, most owners find that if they work with their dog for at least 20 minutes, 2 times a day, they will see remarkable results.

We use a 'motivational' dog training approach. This method uses a combination of Traditional training and Positive Reinforcement training - tailoring programs to fit each individual dogs' temperament and needs.
We use a variety of training equipment - depending on what will work best for each dog and owner team.
Motivational Trainers reward through praise, treats, toys - whatever works for the owner and dog.
They also give leash guidance to the dog and owner to stop or control problem behaviors that are destructive, annoying, or dangerous.

Weekly or every-other-week training sessions generally work best, but we know sometimes life gets hectic. So, we try to be as flexible as possible with meeting your scheduling needs.

While it's impossible to estimate cost until we meet your dog, we have programs from around $900 to $1800 - completely depending on what we're working on with your dog. Our goal is to find the service that works for you and your individual needs. We also offer financing through PayPal Credit.
Ask yourself this: How much does a waste of time & money cost? Amateur dog trainers usually charge around $400 to $600 per 6 week course. They do NOT offer specialized behavior modification methods. Imagine paying good money and then your dog is more aggressive, destructive, obnoxious, and disobedient than before.
Over 50% of the dogs we see each year have already been to large group training classes with an amateur dog trainer. Another 30% of the dogs we see each year have been to other private trainers or board and train programs, and in some cases have spent thousands of dollars on methods that just don't work. Training without a good foundation doesn't give reliable, predictable results.

I had a very good experience taking my dog Bucky to Front Range k9. I did the basic course involving a proper way to heel and teach him to walk quietly on a leash. He learned many commands and his manners have improved significantly. I am thankful for my instructor Jordan who was very patient with both my husband and myself learning how to train Bucky. I would recommend anyone needing help with their dog to attend classes here

My family had a great experience with Front Range K-9 Academy. They are professional, clear about pricing, what to expect during your sessions and are very patient with anxious dogs and humans. Jordan was our trainer and was really fun to work with. She and the program helped us with techniques to settle our dog down and how to handle distractions in different situations. We feel much more confident when we're out walking and when we have visitors to our home. If you put in the work, you will see great results and it will bring you and your dog closer together. We will be signing up for advanced training next.

I can't sing their praises enough. Getting training through Front Range was the best decision we made for our pup. Their courses are affordable and practical, and their instructors are very flexible with their timing - they were happy to host classes around our work schedules. Our trainer (Meg) was kind, knowledgeable, and really fun to be around - we always looked forward to classes. We'll continue taking classes with them and will confidently recommend them to all new dog parents we meet.
