Eric Temple Dog Training

We were having issues with reactivity and recall with our dog. Even after the first session with Eric, we saw immediate results. Eric has a great way of building trust with both dog and humans. We could tell that he cared about our dog in a holistic way and wanted our dog to have a good time in each session. He was also good at teaching us humans by asking a series of questions instead of just telling us what to do. Our dog still has work to do but he’s made amazing progress! Thank you Eric!

Eric has been a game-changer for my golden retriever puppy, Levi! I reached out to Eric for help training Levi to stop pulling on the leash while walking and to improve his off-leash behavior. Eric replied quickly to my reach-out and asked some questions to learn more about Levi. He then set up a meetup to introduce himself to me and Levi and to learn more about Levi. Sessions were then set up, and during each session, Eric made sure that I understood how to properly address behaviors and explained everything the background of why specific behaviors may occur, This provided a lot of insight for me as I now understood why Levi may react to something and how I can properly address it, After the sessions were completed, Levi has been great with his on-leash walking and amazing with his off-leash. His recall has improved greatly, giving me more confidence when he's off leash. Appreciate Eric for his help and would highly recommend him!

When we first adopted our 7-year-old apt, Ella, from the shelter, walking her in the city was near impossible. She was so reactive around other dogs that we’d sometimes use a muzzle just to walk her. If other dogs were on the same side of the road, we would cross the street just to avoid a scene. Eric changed that. He gave us simple, effective tools and helped us understand what Ella needed. He explained things in a way that made sense and made the whole process feel doable. Now, Ella can meet new dogs, walk calmly through the city, and even hike off leash. The difference is night and day. Eric has been a continued support and mentor, and we’re so thankful for his help. We couldn’t recommend him enough!
