Dopamine K9 Training & Behavior

DOPAMINE K9 TRAING! My cute little girl, Dorie is my love bug! BUT - She has always barked a lot when someone walks into the house/room, a knock at the door or the doorbell! Dorie also barked and growled if anyone were to come near me. No amount of telling her to be quiet - yelling at her to stop barking would get her to stop. I was beside myself trying to get her to calm down and stop barking. It was annoying to me and anyone who would visit or anyone who experienced her behavior if they got close to me. Friends told me about their dog having behavioral issues - they took her to Dopamine K9, Jeremy and Danielle owners/trainers. They said the results after their pet returned home were remarkable! I contacted Jeremy - we discussed Dorie’s issues - he said no problem, they would be able to help Dorie and us - family and friends - to live in peace and harmony without Dorie raising a fuss all of the time! Dorie went with Jeremy and Danielle for three weeks - she returned home a happier little dog who doesn’t feel the need to bark continually at every sound or move that someone makes! We are so happy with her training - and ours! What a difference this has made in our lives. I can give Dorie the commands she learned and have peace and quiet without me getting all revved up and tweaked at her for her behavior! This has been a miracle if you ask me! We signed up our corgi for the 2 week board and train to target a few issues: 1) reactivity to people and animals, 2) leash pulling and manners on walks, and 3) excessive barking. We had tried so many methods ourselves and just couldn’t break through with our dog! When we got her back, she was a completely changed dog! The barking is minimal and quickly resolved using the tools Jeremy taught us when she believes the mailman is a threat. She is hardly pulling and when we correct, she actually gets back to heel versus resuming and pulling again. The reactivity is a work in progress, but board/train isn’t a magic pill- we were taught what to do and so far, all that Jeremy said is working. I’m SO HAPPY with the results! I feel so much less stress regarding my dog’s manners. I hope this review will encourage you to choose Dopamine K9. I read reviews to other places before booking and ultimately picked them, and I’m glad I did!

Dopamine K9 is the real deal. Their training methodology is incredibly sound and effective. Jeremy is an expert in dog behavior and is a great teacher. They really care about dogs at Dopamine K9. I have a rescued dog-reactive/aggressive pitbull that has some really extreme behavioral problems and she has improved drastically since we started training with Dopamine. I thought I was going to have to surrender her, but they were extremely encouraging and gave me the tools I needed to help her. I can't recommend them enough.

My dog Ruby stayed with Jeremy and Danielle at Dopamine K9 for an almost three week board and train and came back a completely different dog! I struggled with her reactivity and strong will, and Jeremy and his family helped get her excited and happy about listening. Jeremy provided me with tools to manage her, and spent several hours going over them with me on pick up day. She is able to stay in place now and has incredible off-leash recall, even when we're at the dog park and there are other dogs around! They were flexible with me when I needed to change her pickup day, and very communicative and responsive throughout her stay. I can't recommend Dopamine K9 enough!
