Dog Days Training Center

We love Dog Days! Over the years we have sent four of our pups to them for board and train and spent many hours in their group classes. Laurie is a wealth of knowledge and someone you can trust. Adam has been amazing and has provided prompt responses to questions about a new pup we rescued in a very kind and supportive manner. You can definitely trust that you and your dogs will be well trained and well supported by Laurie and her incredible staff at Dog Days.

Laurie and all have helped me with my very exuberant border collie since she was a pup. I have used them for board and train, group lessons, and boarding. I highly recommend them for all. I appreciated the very detailed insight into my dog, helpful readings on training and dog behavior, the lesson that immediately followed board and train, the many homework ideas to do at home, and the availability for questions and follow up after trainings. They have been quick to respond and have clear boundaries (which made me feel safe leaving my dog for training and boarding). I highly recommend Dog Days...as would my dog, she is always excited to see the trainers and go for training and stays.

We adopted a Great Pyrenees mix puppy, who we knew was going to be a big dog. Given this, training was our #1 priority and after doing a private lesson with a different trainer, knew we needed much more. From the minute I met the Dog Days staff I was impressed - Laurie, Sally, and Adam provided so many great tips, and Lola was accepted to their board and train program, where she was for 2 1/2 weeks. Lola came back calm, a great listener, and she had made big improvements on each of the problem issues we found. When she came home it was up to us to keep this going, which we've worked hard at doing (although it's an imperfect process.) We went back yesterday for a tune-up and again, left with so many great ideas. Dog Days knows their stuff - come ready to listen and implement their recommendations because they work. We're going to be clients for life - this place is absolutely amazing.

I have taken 2 of my golden retrievers to dog days. My first golden Aspen was a super star and did really well with just attending the basic training program. However my 2nd golden Wilson was much different and needed a little bit heavier training approach. I had always wanted to send my dogs to the board and train program and with Wilson I finally did. My only complaint is that I did not do it with Aspen and sooner with Wilson! Wilson went to the 2 week doggy boot camp when he was about 11 months. Overall a great dog but Dog days helped to tame his impulsiveness. Definitely enjoy working with Adam, Sally, and Laurie. They are all very knowledgeable and the message they preach is consistent throughout. They are mostly training us! Look forward to the continued relationship with the folks at Dog Days
